*Sypnosis*
What if a big chance has given to you but there's a big condition? Will you go over the rules and ignore them? When her parents died, leaving her with his younger brother, Joon Ho, GuiGui in order to support him she will need to make a big decision, going or not in the prestigious Daejeon University...

*Prologue*
"Noona" her brother, Joon Ho, is gently squezzing her shirt calling for her attention "I'm hungry"
"You're hungry?" GuiGui closed the book that she's reading and stood up from the floor, heading to the kitchen. She opened the fridge but nothing was there, she also opened some cabinets but also nothing. She closed her eyes and sighed, everyday she has to face the same problem, wondering what she and her brother can eat for lunch and dinner "I'll go to the convenience store, just wait here" she said, grabbing her loosy bag, closing the door behind her.
Since they both lost their parents in a young age, GuiGui has to act like a mother, a father and a sister for Joon Ho. She has to admit that it's a big responsibility for her rising her brother alone, she can't even go to school anymore because she needs to earn money to pay all their expenses and raise his little sibling.
While entering the convenience store, she fastly headed to the noodles area and grabbed some. Noodles is their breakfast, lunch and dinner; she wants to buy other kinds of foods, eating healthier ones, but she can't afford it, her money can't afford anything.
She walked towards the cashier and stared at herself reflecting on the mirror behind the old lady, she moved away the bangs from her forehead and touched her short silky hair. In order to act both part of her parents, she decided to cut her long brown hair, but by doing it, many mistake him as a boy and not a girl anymore.
"How are you?" the old woman asked her while putting in the plastic bag the things that she just bought
"I'm okay" she smiled and took the plastic bag "See you on Monday!" she said and hurriedly walked out of the shop to go home.
All the problems that she's facing now, she will bravely handle them. She will do anything for her brother, everything.
*****
"Ahh it's so boring" Wooyoung complained while flipping fastly page by page the book that he's reading "Seriously, this school is getting lifeless"
"Stop complaining" Nickhun replied annoyed while strumming the strings of his wooden color guitar "If you're bored, go outside"
"Hmp! Poisonous as always" he whispered pouting his lips, leaning his head on the expensive wood table "Jun Ho, say something" Wooyoung said, acting like a baby, begging his friend to do something that can entertain him
"Soon there's an entrance exam, the most clever ones can enter this school, that thing can entertain you" Jun Ho said while looking at the table full of delicacies and cakes
"Ah right right!" he raised his head and smiled pleased
"Even poor ones can take the exam" Chansung bitterly smiled, while cleaning the lenses of his black glasses
"What? Even poor people??" Wooyoung asked surprised
"Only if they can pass the entrance exam" Jun K added himself into the conversation "Which is a 100% hard test. It's definitly impossible for them"
"How about girls? Can they come too?"
"Wooyoung" Taecyeon coldly called for his friend's first name, the five boys remained silent as soon as they heard Taecyeon's voice "You should know the rules of this school, right?" he asked, with his eyes stucked on the book that he's reading
"I know, I know" he rolled his eyes "Girls are not allowed since this is an all-boys school, but that's the thing that make this school lifeless. No girls around, I'm tired of..."
"Wooyoung" Taecyeon said once again, this time he raised his eyes and looked at his friend
"Okay, I'll stop" he replied, feeling imitimidated by Taecyeon's cold stare
The six boys continued doing their stuffs in the elegant and sophisticated room of the Daejeon University, one of the biggest and pretigious school in Korea, attended only by rich people and hated by middle class ones.
*****
"I'm going" GuiGui said while opening the door, heading to work in that early morning.
Fortunately the convenience store where she works is close to her house so that she can avoid from taking the bus, also she is grateful to Mi Hyun that she accepted her to work at her store, even though the salary is low.
"You came early" the old woman smiled at her as soon as she entered the shop "Did you had breakfast?"
"Yes" she answered, heading to the back door to change her clothes, putting the sky blue uniform "Do I need to deliver something?"
"No, just now I need to go out for a while to buy some medicines. In the meantime, take care of the shop. I'll be back soon"
"Okay" she answered, standing in the cashier area.
Since it's still early and probably no customer will come, she the radio and listened to some music. She was happily humming the melody of the song when the sliding door of the store opened, a boy wearing a red t-shirt with black jeans paired with black boots entered the shop. He took his sunglasses off and looked around him, based on his actions it was like it's his first time entering a convenience store. He walked through the shelves and stared at the stuffs displayed on it.
GuiGui left the cashier and walked towards the boy, when she was near him, she got a close-up of his handsome face, she didn't know that guys like him exist in reality too.
"Can I help you, Sir?" she politely ask, the mysterious guy just stared at her for few seconds and then moved his gaze away, ignoring her question.
She lowered her eyes and frowned, then she slowly walked away, returning to the cashier while shaking her head at the bad behaviour of the guy. Few minutes later, the sliding door opened once again and a cute guy followed by an another one entered the shop.
"Hey! I can't believe you entered a shop like this!" the cute guy looked around him "Let's go now or we will be late, but wait! I'll take this for Jun Ho" he smiled and headed to the cashier followed by the three
GuiGui stared at the one chocolate bar and frowned, if they were planning on buying only that, they would have done it faster and avoid all that mess.
"It's 1500 won"
"That's cheap!" Wooyoung exclaimed, disbelief. He opened his wallet and took off a gold credit card "Here"
"Don't you have note bills with you, Sir? Paying 1500 yen with a credit card it's excessive, 2000 won would be perfect"
"I have it" Jun K opened his wallet and took a 50000 won bill
Still confused by that situation, GuiGui took the money and counted for the change, she asked for 2000 won but he handed her a 50000 note bill. She was going to give him the change but the one who handed her the money and the mysterious one already got out of the store leaving Wooyoung behind.
"Take it"
"What?"
"Jun K doesn't want to take the money back"
"But it's his change"
"It's okay" Wooyoung smiled at her "Can I have a plastic bag for this?"
"S-Sure" she was confuse at how weird were those people
"Thanks" Wooyoung cutely said, but before leaving the store he looked at the tag name on her uniform and said "GuiGui-ssi?"he paused and lifted his head to look at her "You should try to take our entrance exam" he said and left the store
"What the..???" she frowned when the boys left the shops, the world really have weird and different people.
At 6pm she took off her uniform, ready to go home when Mi Hyun called for her telling her that that she has something to say.
"When I was in the pharmacy, I overheard some people talking about an open entrance exam to a prestigious University. Since it's basically for rich people, this year they decided to open the exam for everyone and many are attending"
"Ahh.. I don't have enough money to go to University"
"You don't need to spend anything!" the old woman said "If you pass the exam, every expenses you'll have, the school will personally provide for it. Also I heard that every month they'll give each student an allowance"
"Really?" GuiGui asked, surprised to hear for the first time a school with those kind of facilities "Which school is it?"
"Daejeon University, you should try to take the entrance exam"
"I think I will" she happily replied, finally the problem of her expenses will be solve if she can pass the exam
"But there's a condition" Mi Hyun's expression changed into a worried one
"What it is?" she opened her eyes wider, waiting for the reply of the old lady
"It's an all-boys school"
"WHAT?!"
GuiGui blinked her eyes while looking at Mi Hyun's face, that was the most ridiculous reply she ever heard in her entire life..
Foreword
Sooooo.... here's my second fanfic!
I decided to just post the prologue first, I'm currently working on the first chapter. I'll try to entertain you all with Love Footprints and GuiGui Syndrome. Enjoy reading!!!
