“He Changed Me”
Description
Lee Ji-Ah is a 18 year old girl that lived a happy childhood with her dad, mom & big brother. Her family was perfect, like those happy families you see in movies, but everything changed when she turned 13. Her father returned home one night, it was late & he was drunk. That's when everything began, the abuse, the screams, the hate, everything seemed hopeless for Ji-Ah. Everyday all she could do was lock herself up in her room & cry, cry out all those emotions, all those hurtful words said by her father, all those times when she felt like she was useless. Luckily her big brother was always with her, comforting her, telling her that everything was gonna be alright. Her brother was the only man in the house besides her father, only he had the guts to stand up to him. Both of them (her & her brother) were hurt, beaten, rejected by their own father. Ji-Ah prayed all this would stop, she prayed that her family was once again like it was before. Her mother was broken & so was Ji-Ah & her brother.
Foreword
"I HATE ALL OF YOU!!! STAY OUT OF MY LIFE!!! I heard him yell at my mother. He was drunk (again) I can't stand this, how did my family end up like this?! I have lost all my respect for him, I don't even call him "dad" anymore. This has been going on for 3 years? 4? I don't know.. All I know is that my family is broken.. Everything is broken.. Not a single memory remains. "STOP IT!!! I'M SICK OF YOU COMING LATE & SCREAMING AT MY MOM & MY SISTER LIKE THAT!!! CAN'T YOU JUST- *SLAP* HE had slap my brother... twice this day. I saw as he fell on the floor, I saw his anger building up, I saw as he clenched his fist to punch him... I saw my mother running towards my brother to aid him but HE was fast & pulled my mother by her hair hitting her... again. I saw as my brother tried to crawl over to my mom but the other guy was quicker & punched my brother. I saw as he laid on the floor bleeding. I tried to hold back my tears, I saw as my brother looked up & saw me, he saw how afraid I was, he saw my tears building up, he started crawling over to me when we heard him screaming.. "I'M SICK... OF ALL OF YOU!!!" *BANG!* ....& he...pulled the trigger.....
