Ren’s POV: 

I’ve been in love with k-pop since I was 15 years old. I started listening to K-Pop because my mom used to tell me stories of how she would leave America JUST to see a H.O.T concert. I couldn’t understand how someone could love something so much… But I think I understand why k-pop was so important to her; she used it as a escape route… I wasn’t old enough to understand why she cried at night or why she would look out the window while cradling me in her lonely arms. Now that I’m 17, I understand why she used K-Pop as her escape route. It’s nice to hear someone sing to you, to be told that they love you… Those dark nights, alone with nothing but the moon’s shimmering white light breaking its way through your window, being rocked to sleep listening to someone whispering “Saranghaeyo” to you…

I don’t listen to girl groups that often, I feel that they don’t hold the same impact on me like boy bands do. I guess that’s why I don’t have any friends… My looks and my mannerisms are very similar to that of a girl, and my name isn’t much of a help either. I often get teased by my male peers, like: being pushed against a wall, being fondled on my chest, often being told “You feel so soft! Are you sure you aren’t a girl?” Most of the time I’m being tormented by girls, being told: “You think you’re so ing special because you’re A LITTLE pretty?!”, “Why are you so thin and pale?? Do you want to be a girl or something?”, and let’s not forget the most popular one, “Why do you listen to our oppas all the time? Why don’t you listen to girl groups instead, are you gay?!” Gay, , homo… I get those comments everyday on the day, every hour on the hour, and honestly, I wish I could answer that question… not for them, but for myself.

Anyways, my favorite K-Pop band is EXO, but my favorite member is Tao. He is so strong yet, he is so kind hearted and very cute. He doesn’t like violence and he is quick to stand up for someone that is being wronged. I envy his courage and his care and closeness with the other EXO members, and thanks to my mother, I will have the chance to meet him finally! Ever since their debut, I’ve been waiting to meet him, and thanks to my mother I will be able to at least give him a present and show my gratitude… but unfortunately, there is a problem with me meeting him… There will be a girl there, and she will do anything to prevent that from happening.

There is this girl named Moon Mi-Hyun. She has a beautiful eye smile; her hair is evenly dyed from her hazel fringes to her dark brown ends. Everyone she meets falls in love with her because she gives off an “Angel” front, but I know that she is very hateful. I think out of all the people in my school that hates me, she puts the icing on the cake. She once had her ‘boyfriends’ try and me in the boy’s bathroom while she recorded; if it wasn’t for a male teacher needing to ‘do his daily business’, I would have been , most definitely. Since I take care of the rose garden at school, she burned all the rose bushes, leaving notes like: “Get out you ” and “No one feels sorry for you, soft !” When was searching the bushes for anymore of Mi-Hyun’s notes, I found a blossoming  white rose, still blooming even though it was covered with dead, black roses; that is the gift that I want to give Tao, in hopes that he will be able to remember that he is my reassuring white rose.

Bio: Tao is a member of the popular South Korean boy-band "EXO" he is also
a member of EXO's Chinese sub-unit "EXO-M". He is a bit of the resevred/quiet side.
He is also very kind and caring. Ren thinks very highly of him, reffering to him as
his "reassuring white rose"

Age: Sixteen

Bio: Mi-Hyun is adored by everyone that has the chance to meet her, but under
her beauty, Ren describes her to be the meanest bully he has. She is envious
of Ren's pretty features and secretly, she wants him all to herself.

Name: Min 'Suga' Yoongi

Age: Twenty

Bio: Ren meets Yoongi at Music Bank backstage. Min Yoongi is
calm and relaxed in-front of people that he doesn't know or 
care about, but he is really a playful and sweet person. He becomes close 
with Ren after hearing his story. Yoongi begins to develop strong feelings for 
Ren after spending numerous amount of free days with him.
