Description

Haeun hasn't seen Jongin in three years, well not physically. He's all over the television and radio promoting with his group EXO. Time hasn't made things easier for Haeun, her love for Jongin hasn't changed and no matter how much she tried to forget about him, he would always have a way of taking over her thoughts especially on the most romantic day of the year, Valentine's Day. But this Valentine's is different, she recieves a letter from Jongin and this letter changes everything for Haeun.

Foreword

"Haeun,
It's been a long time, hasn't it? Coming up three years, time passes so quickly. Yet, it seems long when I think about the last time I saw you. That day, you were still smiling and encouraging me even though I know on the inside you were breaking.
Do you remember what you said when I told you I was leaving? You said, 'If it makes you happy, that's all that matters.'
But you were wrong, Haeun. It's not all that matters, because you matter too. You matter so much and I wish I told you that then, but I was scared of my own feelings. I couldn't confess, knowing that I was leaving, you had a future ahead of you and I didn't want to burden you. But this seems worse, because now I don't have you in my life at all.
Despite what you may think, I want you to know that I never stopped thinking about you, never stopped caring. On my toughest days I remember your smile and it gives me strength to continue and make you proud. I hope one day I can become a person that you're proud of.
