I could feel my palms getting sweaty and my pulse accelerating. I was scared that my hands would be spurting out water like a programmed sprinkler soon. I turned to him and he looked back at me. 

"To be honest, I was pretty anxious about tonight." He gave me a little smile. 

I didn't know what to say, but I had to reply."If we're going to be honest, I should probably confess," I blurted, "I'm actually really nervous right now."

He chuckled at my remark and reached over to hold my hand, "I am just as nervous as you are." 

In the midst of all my thoughts, I realized he had sweaty hands too. Our fingers intertwined and his grip held on tighter. I looked at him again, but he had his head down with his eyes focused on the ground. I found it quite cute, and unknowingly let out a giggle. Somehow, it made him laugh right back at me. He looked at me with a smile, then back to the floor. All that laugh of his did to me was give me a bad case of the butterflies in my stomach. I almost felt I could fly.
