Description

as long as blossoms sprout beneath the hallows of her feet and the starry constellations of the sky remind him of her eyes, jongin loves her and only her. (because flowers like soojung grow once until they catch their last breath, sway their last words, and kiss goodbyes to those who once were. jongin stays before the goodbyes.)

Foreword

Forever and infinite are the same, Soojung learns. Forever is when he kisses her on the lips, mutter strings of sounds that aren't true (one after the other, like an unending mantra), and leaves a bullet in her heart. Infinite is when he holds her hands, smother her with his daring lips (because that's all he's good at), and leave her wounds that are scars of the past (she hates them).

Soojung doesn't want forever, or infinite, or anything else that her past heartbreaks say they'll be. Soojung wants love, only love. She finds love. (He notices her when she doesn't notice him.)
