Not too long, Wookie finally broke the silence

"Anio, its not like that.." her tears fall along with her heart,"I Love you Wookie.. but I don't want you to suffer.."

 

He was confused, "suffer? How would I suffer when I would spend my entire life with the one I love?"

 

She bit her lips, "Wookie-ah.. Mianhae.. I do love you.. I want to have kids with you, I want to grow old with you, I want to be with you till my last breath... but I think it would be selfish for me to do that."

 

"I cant seem to understand.. please.. explain more further.. You want to be with me then why won't you marry me?"

 

"Wookie-ah.. I have a cancer. Mianhae, it took me so long to say this to you. I dont want you to leave me. I know I;m selfish, it's okay for you to leave me right now. I would understand. " she said as she move one step backward away from him

It's the first time his tears fell in front of her. Eun Hwa move slowly backward, Ryeowook grabbed her hands and pull him closer to him.

 

"I don't care what kind of illness do you have. I don't care even if its contagious or whatsoever. I want to spend my life with you and our children."

 

She hugged him tightly, "Mianhae. I'm sorry for causing you too much pain, I dont want to hurt you anymore so please..."

 

" I won't let go. I Love you just the way you are now. I accepted you for who you are from the start and I'll accept you till the end. "

 

With those calming words that Ryeowook said, Eun Hwa finally accepted Ryeowook's hand

She rest her head on Ryeowook's right shoulder, "You sure you never regret living with me?" Eun Hwa slowly raise her head to be able to see his face

 

Wook took a deep breath, " Regret? Why would I regret such thing? Living with you is the happiest part of my life. You, Me, and her.. We'll be the happiest family." Wook smiled as he massage Eun Hwa's tummy

 

She hold his hands and together they rest beside each other. She's satisfied knowing that he's never leave her side till her last breath

Months pass...

Day by day, Eun Hwa's body is getting more and more weaker, She lost half of her weight, her skin as pale as snow, but she has to be strong, she has to live, she has to survive..

..for Ryeowook..

..for their baby inside her..

 

...she must live long..

 

The doctors said it is impossible for Eun Hwa to undergo delivery for she is very weak, its impossible for her to give birth..

"Hang on a little, Yeobo!" Ryeowook hold Eun Hwa's hand as he watch her giving birth to their daughter

"Date of Birth: April 4, 2011, 5:14 pm " the doctor said as he got the new born baby girl

The sound of the machine echoed in the whole delivery room

 

Ryeowook's greatest fear, losing the one he love, mixed emotions is what he felt.. he felt happy, nervous, fear.. all of it at the same time

 

"Sir, I'm sorry but you're not allowed anymore inside the room" the nurse him outside and left

 

"Live on.. Please live on.." only words he can say while sitting beside the door. Dumbfounded.

Is this really the end for me? I didn't even got a chance to hold my baby, I didn't even see the fruit of our love.. I haven't even bid goodbye to Ryeowook. My vision is getting dark, 'Please Lord, not now..' I thought. I must fight! 'Even Just for few days, let me live with my family.. please..'

 

"Clear! " the doctor shouted as he place the iron like equipment on her chest

They spend their normal lives. Eun Hwa was able to take care of their daughter, Ryeowook took a vacation from his work to spend time with his family

Eun Hwa fell onto the floor and faint.

 

Siren can be heard all over the residence

 

"Hold on Eun Hwa!" Ryeowook led her to the emergency room

 

"Saranghae Ryeowook!" those were her last words

 

"I'm sorry sir but you're not allowed to enter the room." The doctor said as he clkosed the door of the emergency room

 

"is it really the end?" he cried to himself hoping that God will give her again another chance to live

Hours pass, no signs of doctor coming out only more than five doctors enter the emergency room

 

Tears flooded the whole hospital

 

Doctor finally came out of the emergency room, "Mr. Kim Ryeowook?"

 

he hurriedly stand up from his seat and wipe away his tears

 

"I'm sorry but your wife didn't make it."

 

The sentence echoed in his mind, keep repeating, analyzing if he heard it correctly

 

"it's a miracle that she lived longer than a normal person with that kind of illness, the day she gave birth was supposed to be her last day, but she's strong, she's very strong and fought over her death to live. I'm sorry."

 

his sensitive heart has been stabbed by a 10 knives, words wont come out his mouth only tears of sorrow coming out of his eyes..

 

Pain.
