Exams and Preparation
Sugar and Candy, Everything Sweet {REVAMPINGHello guys!!! I am finally finally back from a long month of studying and studying and studying.... :<
I have been super duper busy with studying that I haven't been able to update at all >///< I am super duper sorry!!!
Today, I will be sharing some of my studying and exam tips that has worked out a lot for me to get me really nice grades!! :)
Here we go!
STUDYING FOR EXAMS
1) Plan ahead
It's always good to plan ahead of time on what you are going to do. You do not want to start out too fast nor too slow. I would recommend you to start a month before your exams. There is no need to rush! For example, my finals were in the middle of May, 14,15 and 16. I had already started reviewing notes since April 5th and 6th. You do not need to panic if people tell you you are starting out too early. One of my friends told me that and she was still not done with her review notes a day before he exam!! It's better earlier than later!!
2) Get a Calander
It is super important to buy a calander for the exams. This makes it so much easier for you to follow your schedule and do things on time! You should only however start writing in your calander in the month of the exam. However, it is very very important that you actually follow this schedule and not slack off.
This was my calender for the exam month.
3) No distractions
When studying, it is very easy to get distracted. In this case, you can download blocks and distraction managers for the time being. I have downloaded Self Control and it really helps me get to work since it gives you a count down timer and you really can not get on your blocked sites until the time has finished.
4) Organizing notes
Now my school is completly computer-based so everything is either stored in google drive or on my desktop. I think for exams, a seperate exams folder should be created containing review materials your teacher might have given you and some important notes that are needed. TIP!!! Ask your teachers if they can give you a list of things that may be on the exam! This will be very helpful for the next step!!
5) Creating your notes
This is something that seriously helped me ace my tests.
All you need for this is a simple notebook, some post it notes and lots of colorful pens!!
This is a notebook I created for my exams!!! It's a small notebook and I rpefer small so I can just carry it around everywhere. This is so us
