IU wakes up to the sound of her alarm ringing. 

Slowly she stretches her arm and presses the snooze button.

'Another long day with Hyo Ri probably.' IU groans.

She shakes the cover off her shoulders and gets up.

"IU ah! Time to wake up! You'll miss the bus!" Her mother calls from the kitchen.

Quickly, IU dresses in to her school uniform, grabs her backpack, and heads downstairs. 

"Ah! There you are my sweet child! Here have some pancakes." IU's mother says kissing her on the forehead.

IU sits down with a heavy sigh and starts stuffing her face with the delicious pancake.

IU steps out of her front door and the smell of spring greets her. She looks up to see Kris waiting by the gate. IU looks down as she walks toward him, embarrassed of what happened yesterday.

Kris looks at her in awe and then smiles broadly. IU pinked.

"As beautiful as ever!" Kris says as if she's a block of gold.

IU smiles.

Kris slips his hand into IU's as they walk toward the bus stop, where the other members were waiting. 

"Hey IU!" They all greet in unison.

"Wassup?" Chen calls.

IU nods in a greeting as the bus comes to a screeching halt.

IU hugs her book as she weaves her way through the crowded hallways. Just as she reached the classroom, someone stands there. Hyo. Ri. 

She stands in front of her and knocks IU's books out of her hands.

"Where you think you goin'? You ." Hyo Ri smirks as IU's eyes well up with tears.

"Stop it." Kris growls as he shows up.

Hyo Ri raises her eyebrow and flashes an angry look. Without a warning, Hyo Ri raises her hand and slaps IU. IU stumbles back as she clutches her cheek.

Everyone in the crowd gasps and murmurs.

'Be strong.' IU thinks.

"You have no right to slap me!" IU says angrily.

Everyone looks at IU in surprise. Even Hyo Ri was taken by surprise.

"Oh yeah? I believe I just did!" Hyo Ri says.

In a flash, IU slaps Hyo Ri.

"And I believe just did too." IU said furious.

Hyo Ri stumbles back and falls to the ground.

"Did you see that Kris? Did you see that everyone?!" Hyo Ri screams. 

Hyo Ri gets up, brushes herself off, and points at IU accusingly.

"She's a bully! She slapped me! She took my Kris!" Hyo Ri rages with fury.

Everybody looks at each other and murmur in disagreement.

"No. I believe you're the bully and that you have to stop." Kris steps in.

Everyone agrees in agreement and left before anymore drama. Kris puts his arm around IU and leave with the Exo-M members guarding them on each side.

As they leave, Hyo Ri screams in frustration.

"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU ALL! F**K YOU ALL!" Hyo Ri yells.

IU looks back and for the first time, doesn't feel guilty for anything.

"She deserved it." IU convinced herself.

Not fully convinced, she walks out of the school door and heads in the direction of her neighbor hood.

As soon as Kris steps foot into his house, he turns and touches IU's shoulder.

"What you did back there was brave." He said smiling.

IU doesn't answer and just stares at her hand, the hand she slapped Hyo Ri with. All of a sudden a wave of guilt washes over her.

She puts her head on Kris's shoulder and mutters,"I don't know where it came from... I guess I was just too angry to hold it in." 

Kris says,"You did great." 

As soon as those words escape Kris's lips, he pulls her in and kisses her. IU couldn't help but kiss back.

He touches the back over neck and whispers,"Beautiful." 

IU shivers in delight.
