Girl Next Door
Description
"H-hello," Jessica greeted cautiously, looking up in order to meet the stranger's eyes. "I'm Jessica Jung, the new resident."
"How annoying," the girl muttered under her breath as the doors finally opened and she made her exit quickly. Jessica stared after her when she realized this was also her floor.
Jessica moves into her new apartment and encounters Yuri, her quiet next door neighbor. Their first meeting doesn't exactly pass with flying colors, but Jessica isn't giving up without trying. She is ready to start anew, and a new friend might be the answer. The problem is, friends aren't supposed to feel that way about each other... Right?
Foreword
I wanted to create a longer story than what I already have. This was one of my first ideas back when I started, but I didn't really find any way to execute it until now. I have some things planned, but other things come as it goes along. I wanted to choose something simple as a title, and I thought: "Girl next door." Now, this idea has two sides to it. One is the obvious one; the girl next door. The second one is its definition: an archetype of a cute, kind, unassuming, and honest woman or girl, often in a romantic story. I wanted to twist it around a little. Why? You'll see.
