The Jade Green Dress

Description

I'm fresh out from GD's 'One of a Kind' World Tour, and 'She's Gone' came back to haunt me like a banshee so I wrote about it.

Foreword

The waves crash onto the cliff with the strength of a thousand bulls. Their voices echoes in this abandoned chamber. The candles flicker ominously, threatening to go out anytime. The icy marble floor cooling her body temperature down so quickly, it almost seems lethal. The grand fireplace now merely a decoration without its warmth, lending the ballroom a desolate feel. His heels clicked softly on the ground as he swayed her left and right in a demented ball dance. Her breath is now shallow and quick, yet her hard stare and locked jaw challenged him to go further.

He merely smiled like a boy, and took up her challenge.

He switched his steps into a quick elegant foxtrot, tweaking the moves so he could peel off the layers of her clothes. She protested, but he was strong. Having left her shivering in her corset and underwear, he played gentlemen and carried her to his room. By now, the bruises were showing clearly, a obscene mixture of purple, maroon, blue, green and yellow, looking just like a solar system on its own. Gently, he put her on his bed and with the snap of his fingers, the closet door opened, revealing a jade green dress that clung tightly on a wax figure. A wax figure made to look exactly like herself. Paralyzed with fear, she let him pull the dress on and tighten the ribbons behind. Then he picked up her hand and brought her away from the ironic bleakness of the mansion.
