“boyah?” I replied. It came out ruder that I wanted it to. I kept my head low, forcing myself to stare at the sloppy eggs that I had made for myself. I let my short but growing bangs slightly cover my eyes. I could feel the Mr. grumpy in me want to burst. But I held it in.

 

I had slept really late from crying. Omma and I had fought last night. It was so rare. But I guess I couldn’t take anymore mood swings of hers anymore. So I replied meanly? I don’t know. But it ended really bad. She didn’t wake me up this morning, which got me worried. We usually jog every morning…

 

Ugh it was only eight. I had four hours of sleep. And I was planning on dropping by the preschool. I guess I’ll have to cancel. I don’t want to have naptime with the caterpillars!

 

You see, Omma and I had this relationship. That no other mother and daughter could ever have. She was like my best friend. She would always drive me to music bank, early in the morning and Cheer on Beast and other groups with me. Sh e was someone that i could say 'omo! He's cute!' to without worrying that they won't agree. I was able to sit her down at my bed every night and tell her everything that’s happening. And no matter what it was, she understood. She never encouraged a boyfriend. But she understood how it was to love someone. Or how it felt to go through heartbreak. I wanted to be a mom because of her.

 

“Are you okay?”, I guess appa either heard everything or omma ranted it all out at him.

 

“Yeah”

 

“Anyi, why did I even ask. I know your not.”

 

“Let’s not talk about it, can you drive me to preschool today?”

 

“Sure, but why? I thought you finished your volunteer hours.”

 

“Yeah I did, but I just love the little kiddies so much!”, I tried to make it sound convincing, so he’d forget the previous topic.

 

“oh. Okay. I need to leave the house by 9:30 then.”

 

“oh okay. Yeah I need to be there at  ten”

 

“mm, I’m headed for my shower now, then”, he said as he walked upstairs.

Appa drove me to preschool nice and slowly. We ran into an annoying red light almost every time. Jadklfjadhal;fd. I stared out the window from the passenger’s seat. I was so bored, I found myself identifying the different colors of the different buildings. I think preschool was getting to me.

 

‘BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP’ I heard. My heart skipped a super quick beat at that! And the car jerked at that same second. My head hit the head cushion really hard and fast, it felt like a rock. I looked around to hear many other cars beeping too.

 

When I look up front, I see the cutest dog ever. Barking at cars. We cant hear it, but it sure looked like it, though it was scared. It was definitely a shiatsu. It was beautiful and… a baby. It didn’t even look 6 months old. I glanced at Appa and eyed him over to the dog. He was a veterinarian anyway. I gave him my pleading face when he looked back at me. I wanted to take it in so bad.

 

He let a big sigh slip out, “Bring it in”

 

“OOOOOOOH YAY!”, I screamed as I opened the door. A rush of heat came and hit my skin hard. Yuck. It was sticky and humid today, here in Seoul.

 

I walked out and jumped over the slightly touching cars. I walked over to the dog. It backed away from me. I stayed there, just looking at it. I was hand motioning it to come towards me.

 

It slowly came over.

 

I picked it up and bounced it up and down on my arms, and it my face.

 

I looked around me, and I was trapped in a hexagon formed by cars.

 

I looked for appa’s car. When I spotted it, it was slowly moving away from the collision so that I didn’t have to jump again.

 

I walked quickly towards it, and hopped in.

 

“Appa, It’s so pretty! I think it’s a girl too! Otherwise its things got cut off… ~keke!”

 

“Oh my, this dog probably costed a lot…” appa joked as we left the traffic, “hey can you take out the GPS for me. We should go a different way because of that traffic”

 

“dneeeh!”, I anwsered as I stuck my head out into backseats. Then I saw a doojoon look alike. Ugh. Im hallucinating again! He looked like he was looking for something. Like he lost something precious to him… just like when I couldn’t find my beast album when my sister hid it. Aigsh! Then a blonde guy ran up to him …Yoseob?

I grabbed for the GPS and tired to clear my mind with a big imaginary eraser.

 

Then a new topic came into my mind… who’s dog was this?
