Left her over-powering parents,

Escaped from a life of no love,

Fled to a new, foreign country.

He was that sweet, caring boy of a Chinese background.

He was protective of her, attentive of her and was just always there for her when no one else was.

Since she was on a mission to hide herself from her old life,

she never revealed to him that they shared the same home country.

As time passed, things changed. He changed.

He still gave her the kisses and the "I love you"s,

He never showed her any reasons to doubt him, that perhaps he was having fun with someone else behind her back.

But she knew,

she knew because he revealed everything right in front of her.

Everytime he was on the phone with his secret lover,

every text from that woman that showed up on his phone.

She understood everything.

He thought she wouldn't have a clue.

Even though she found out about his affiar,

she kept it to herself.

She wanted something out of it.

Did she want revenge?

Did she want to ruin his public image?

Or did she just want to be naive and still believe her love with him is true.
