The Beast

There are many legends and tales about them, but very few are true.

They’re known for being vile blood undead creatures that have instant death when they meet the sun and curl in pain when they see garlic or a crucifix. Now there are even stories about them that say that they don’t die at sunlight, that they sparkle.

Well, I'm going to tell you something. I’m not Tinkerbell, I don’t sparkle.

My name is Kim Kibum and I’m a vampire.

My problem? I hate it.

The reason? There are too many to even count. This is no fairytale, and no, I’m not dead, I don’t dislike garlic or dissolve into smoke when I walk in the street by day, that’s bull.

Blood.

We don’t live of blood, we need it yes, but our diet isn’t based on that. I like Italian food, that’s my favorite.

Blood is the source of my problem. Blood is the source of every vampire’s problem; it’s not our friend but our enemy.

There are many kinds of vampires actually. There are the ones that were born as vampires, the ones who were turned and the ones who didn't resist the virus and either die or become dangerous. That’s right, a virus. It’s all about that nasty virus.

Because of that virus I got into a lot of trouble.

Because of that virus I found someone who changed my life.

Because of that virus… I found a reason to live again.
