Crack In My Heart

Description

Young and impassioned, Meng Jia still has many dream to be realized.

But her mother thinks differently.

Foreword

My name is Meng Jia, twenty-five.

I am terrifically skinny, not because I influenced by the ‘beauty ideal’ in society, but simply because I don’t have time to eat properly. I wake up early every morning for work and busy all day until late in the evening.

Heavy eyeliner is part of my daily make up, not because I try to make my eyes look bigger in what society find attractive, but plainly to draw the attention up and away from the dark circles under my tired eyes. Served as PR junior-staff of JYP Nations, I don’t have much time to rest, the money may be little but it’s from my own sweat.

I am young and have my own income. I feel satisfied because I can pay my own necessity and I feel y after paying my taxes. I think I don’t need anything else.

My name is Meng Jia and I am proud of myself.

Congratulations! Your story won the first place of the competition. The karma points will be transferred to your account within 24 hours of this post.

Good job for writing a story that most women could relate to. Zeyu sounds charming already, I bet if you did a full length story, I'd fall head over heels for him. The ending did sound rsuhed but that's okay, we all have flaws and you could improve that in your other works. Your grammar wasn't always on point, but they were not too bad. As long as they did not distract me from enjoying the plot, everything's good for me. Just keep improving!

Once again, congratulations and sorry for delaying the judging so much.
