Prologue

"Good afternoon, sir. How may I help you?" The worker asked Chanyeol the moment he stepped into the jewelry shop. He looked at the shop
which sold all kinds of jewelries. He smiled at the worker who was standing in front of him, "I'm looking for a gift for the one I love for our
first year anniversary," he replied.

The worker smiled, "Then you've came to the right place. Here, follow me," she said as she brought Chanyeol to the rings section.

"Since you're finding an anniversary gift, I strongly recommend couple rings as it shows that the two of you belong to each other and it signifies the love the two of you share. Here, take a look at this," the worker took out the displayed couple rings from the shelf and placed it on top of the glass table.

"One has a locket on it while the other has a key. It simply says that your partner is the key to open the locket in your heart, and vice versa. I'm pretty sure your partner would love the ring," the worker explained as she smiled at Chanyeol.

Chanyeol grinned from ear to ear, feeling like it was the right gift. "I'll take these then," he confirmed.

"Alright, sir. I'll help you to wrap up the rings in a box," the worker informed and left.

Chanyeol pursed his lips as he looked around at the other rings that were displayed. He still felt like the locket and key one were the best choices after browsing through. 

After he had paid for the rings and the worker telling him to spend a good evening with his partner, he left the shop and went home to get prepared, grinning as he headed towards his car. "I hope that Baekhyun would like these," he murmured to himself as he started the engine and drove back home.

Because the Chanbaek/Baekyeol couple is just too precious.
