Prologue: 

Bom looked out through the airplane window and can see the city of Seoul, Korea. It’s a new place for her to live in after her father died in a car accident.

“To the passengers, please make sure your belongings are safely with you. We’re landing on the landing track, Seoul Airport,” the pilot said through the microphone. Bom’s mom gathered her things such as her handbag, hat and sunglasses. 

Bom looked out through the airplane window as the airplane landed on the landing track. She unbuckled her seatbelt and followed her mother. 

Bom’s sister and mom walked out from the airplane, followed by Bom when the airplane had landed on the landing track safely. “Omma, where are we going to live?” Bom asked her mom, preventing the sun with her palm. 

“We’re going to live in a neighbourhood,” Bom’s mom said before letting out a heavy sigh. “Omma, can I have my own room?” Bom’s sister, Tami, requested while doing her puppy eyes. Bom’s mom sighed, “Okay.” 

Tami smiled broadly and hugged her mom, “Thank you omma!” Mom broke the hug and continued walking to the place where they will grab their suitcases.

“Thank you,” Mom thanked the taxi driver while handing in the money. “You’re welcome. Have a nice day.” The taxi driver smiled and pulled off. Bom turned around and can see a double-story house. 

“Wow.” Bom’s eyes widened while fell open. “Come on, let’s go inside.” Mom pulled the side-handle of her suitcase and carried it into her house, followed by Bom and Tami doing the same thing. 

“Wow! This house is amazing!” Tami squealed in pleased, looking at the furniture. “Omma, where did you buy all this stuff?” Bom asked her mom curiously. “Actually, this was Auntie Anne’s house,” Mom said and sighed. 

“Auntie Anne sure owned a nice house,” Tami praised, sitting on the long couch. “Tami, Bom, you guys can go upstairs and choose your rooms,” Mom said, placing her suitcase opposite the front door. 

“Okay!” Tami said and the two of them ran upstairs. “I want this room!” Tami said, stepping into a big room. The walls are painted in light blue while the floor is covered with a pink carpet. The bedding is tidied made with a blue and black striped sheet. 

“This is my room!” Bom said as she entered a room with the walls painted in velvet colour while the floor is covered with purple carpet. The bed sheet is a picture of a puppy while the blanket is brown. 

“Are you guys done choosing your rooms?” Mom asked while walking upstairs. “Yes!” Bom and Tami replied in unison while jumping on their beds. “Wow, Auntie Anne’s daughters sure know how to keep their rooms nicely,” Mom teased them since they don’t know how to keep their rooms clean. 

“Omma, don’t tease us like that!” Tami pouted, crossing her arms. “Yeah!” Bom said, agreeing with Tami. “I was just kidding,” Mom said as she pulled Bom and Tami into a tight hug.  “I love you, girls.” Mom kissed Tami and Bom’s cheek and broke the hug. 

“Omma, I miss appa,” Tami said, started sobbing. “There, there, appa will always be there by your side,” Mom persuaded Tami, wiping the tears that were streaming down her cheeks. “Omma, do you have a picture of appa? Because tonight, I want to sleep with appa,” Bom requested, smiling broadly. 

Mom giggled, “Yes, I do sweetheart.” “I want too!” Tami pouted. Mom giggled once again and nodded, “I will give to both of you okay?” Bom and Tami nodded and pulled their mom into a hug.
