BRUISE

Sulli had that blank expression on her face.

Huh? Has she ever been in love?

“I see…so you’ve never been in love.” Said Minho

That surprised Minho. From what he knows, Sulli is just a year younger than Krystal….

Wait…she has never been in love?! How come she went to work in that Karaoke Club?! Tsk! This woman does not take care of herself.

 “So…How come you think that way about love?” asked Minho

“If you love someone…and she loves you too…you would fight for it and try to make things work, right? You don’t hold it back and fight it off. That’s like drinking medicine for a fever. Only that love is nothing like fever. The more you push it away…the more it penetrates your heart.”

Yeah…Sulli said big words without even realizing it.

Sulli can’t explain it too.

“I’m not sure…I just…know.” Said Sulli “I…took care of Kevin when I was 16. And all my attention was with him ever since then…there was no chance…to fall in love.”

Sulli is not comfortable of the topic.

Minho saw Sulli’s discomfort…so she has never been in love?

“I need to go to sleep.” Said Sulli “Please go to sleep too.”

Minho was stunned for a moment

“Do I hear ‘care’ in what you just said?” asked Minho

“Kevin is expecting you tomorrow on his parent’s day. I just want to make sure you’ll be there.” Said Sulli

Minho smirked

“How disappointing. ”Said Minho “I Got it.”  Giving Sulli a salute.

Sulli went to Kevin’s school. Minho said he’ll be a bit late.

“Mommy…where’s Daddy Ajussi?” asked Kevin

“Oh..he’ll be here soon.” Said Sulli

A teacher approached Sulli

“Hi Miss. We will start in a  few minutes,  The first event is Mom-son game.” Said the teacher

Good, this will buy Minho time.

“We’ll join that. You like that right, Kevin?” asked Sulli

“Yes Mommy!” said Kevin

Minho kept looking at his watch…He needs to leave now…good thing the meeting has now ended.

“Sir. I already rescheduled your meetings this afternoon as you requested.” Said Ralph

“Good, thank you.” Said Minho

“Do you need the car ready?” asked Ralph

“Yes, I need to hurry. I’m already late.” Said Minho

“All right, Sir.” Ralph can’t help but smile. He knows Minho is going to Kevin’s school. What happened for him to go there? Doesn’t he hate that kid?

“Ummm Sir…” Ralph stopped on his way out…this looks trouble…

“Ms. Krystal is here.” said Ralph

Minho saw Krystal waiting for him in his office.

“What are you doing here?” asked Minho

“Umm.. Oppa…I’m sorry…I know you don’t like visitors in the office…but I just can’t help it.” Said Krystal

Minho sat across Krystal

“What did you come here for?” asked Minho

“You sound like you want me to leave now.” Said Krystal

He hurt her again. That’s what he has been doing to Krystal since they broke up 2 years ago.

“I have an appointment now. So I need to leave.” Said Minho

Minho noticed the big bruise on Krystal’s arm. Minho immediately stood up and held Krystal’s arm.

“What happened?” asked Minho

“Umm…I have a drink last night…I car hit me. It was my fault. I wasn’t paying attention.” Said Krystal

“You should’ve called me!” said Minho

“Why will I call you? You’re no longer MY boyfriend.” Said Krystal “You’re just my sister’s Fiancee.”

Minho felt like his heart is being pierced seeing Krystal’s bruised arm. He wasn’t there to help her. And he doesn’t have the right to do so.

“Where else…is it just your arm?” asked Minho

“Don’t worry Oppa. I’m fine.” Krystal pulled her arm away and pulled a box from her bag. “I bought you some donuts. You love this flavor right?”

“You’re coming with me to the hospital.” Said Minho

“No. I’m not going.” Said Krystal

“Stop taking care of me Oppa. Don’t make me expect that you care for me.”   Said Krystal, tears flowing from her eyes as she opens the box of donuts.

Minho touched Krystal’s shoulder and turned Krystal to face him.
