Chapter 7

TEA

Sulli learned that Minho’s family wake up early every day. They usually get breakfast at 7:00 in the morning and leaves the house at 8AM. That works for them. Kevin’s school starts at 10AM. So they need to go down at 8:30 to eat and leave at 9AM. That way they will not bumped into anyone in the family.

Sulli tried to peak outside the room to check if the people are gone. She walked silently down the stairs and then to the dining room. When she saw that nobody is there anymore, she went up to get Kevin.

Sulli just stepped on the bottom of the stairs when she heard a familiar voice.

“Why are you walking on tiptoe like a burglar?” said Minho

Sulli immediately looked behind her.

“Oh..sorry…I thought you’ll all be out already so I already brought Kevin down. But you’re still here. I’ll try to estimate the time better next time.” Sulli turned to go up the stairs again

“I intentionally stayed a bit late today. Mom and my sister already left.” Said Minho

“Oh…ok…” Is he trying to check if they’re ok? Thought Sulli.

Sulli heard footsteps and saw 2 woman entering the house. The first one is very classy but looks a bit…unfriendly. The other one is simple yet beautiful. Who are they?

“Honey!” The classy woman went running to hug Minho and gave him a kiss on the lips. That made Sulli’s eyes grow in shock. She looked around to avoid seeing the scene. And then she saw the simple woman looking away…for a second there, Sulli thought she saw eyes of pain….no…it’s probably because of the Korean Drama she saw last night. She’s starting to overthink things.

Minho pushed the classy woman a bit.

“Jessica, when did you come back?” asked Minho

“Just yesterday. And wow…you were all over the news.” Said Jessica

“You saw that, huh? Well that can’t be helped.” Said Minho “You brought Krystal with you?”

Sulli noticed Minho’s eyes became gentler when he looked at Krystal.

“Hi Oppa. Nice seeing you.” Said the simple lady

“Hi Krystal.” Minho took a few steps towards Krystal and gave her a quick hug.

Sulli noticed Jessica giving an irritated smirk. What’s with this woman?

“Who are they?” asked Jessica “Oh… are they the Mistress’ family?”

Minho almost forgot Sulli and Kevin’s presence when Jessica and Krystal arrived.

“Her name is Sulli and the kid is Kevin.” Said Minho

“Greet the Noonas, Kevin.” Said Sulli

“No…I don’t want to have anything to do with you.” Said Jessica

Wow…this woman! What’s her problem really?!

“Unnie, don’t be like that. The child is adorable.” Said Krystal

Krystal went to Kevin and held his hand.

“Hi Kevin. I’m Krystal Noona.” Said Krystal

“Hi Krystal Noona.” Said Kevin                 

Krystal laughed. “So cute!”

“Stop that Krystal. You don’t want to be associated with those 2.” Said Jessica.

Jessica walked in and Krystal followed her.

“Who are they?” asked Sulli

“Jessica is my fiancée. Krystal is her sister…Umm…go ahead, get your breakfast.” Said Minho and he followed Jessica and Krystal

“Fiancee?” thought Sulli. That’s somehow weird…it seems something in Sulli’s heart is being gripped.

He has a fiancée…Why did Sulli feel…something close to disappointment?

Wait a minute…He has a Fiancee?!

An anger started boiling in Sulli’s heart

Minho asked for a leave from the office. He needs to sort things out for Sulli and Kevin. Plus…Jessica and Krystal arrived.

Jessica said she needs to leave to shop for clothes. But Krystal asked to stay.

“She’s beautiful” said Sulli

“Miss Krystal?” asked Anna “Ah, yes, she’s pretty.”

“She seems to be close to Minho…I have an impression that she might even be closer to Minho than the Fiancee.” Said Sulli

“Yeah…they’re really close. Miss Jess and Sir Minho wasn’t close even after the engagement. But Sir and Miss Krystal had always been close.” Said Anna

Sulli noticed Anna closing her eyes frequently.

“Are you ok?” asked Sulli

“Yeah Ms. Sulli…I just feel feverish.” Said Anna

Sulli touched Anna’s forehead.

“Oh no…you need to rest. Let me do the laundry. I am an expert at this. Just go rest ok?” sai
