Sohyun carried Kevin back to the pool

“Hey…don’t cry ok?” said Sohyun

“Is Krystal Noona asking Mommy to leave me? I don’t want Mommy to leave.” Said Kevin

“No Kevin..umm…she’s just asking your Mommy to have a vacation. Your Mommy works so hard and Krystal Noona is just asking your Mommy to have a vacation and rest.” Said Sohyun

But Kevin seems to be not convinced. Is she not good at covering stories? Does that mean she doesn’t have a future as an actress? thought Sohyun.

Sulli felt angry…sad…lonely…But most of all she feels that Krystal is right. Minho and Krystal will get married someday….And when Minho formally adopts Kevin..she’s going to be out of the family. They can get her as Kevin’s Nanny…but it’s unlikely to happen especially that Miss Krystal was clear in telling her that Krystal did not like her around Minho.

But will Kevin be ok? Krystal seems to adore Kevin…And Kevin is amazing…he can melt even the coldest of Sohyun and Minho’s hearts…

Sulli closed her eyes…

She has made a decision.

Minho brought Sohyun and Krystal near the Mansion. Everyone is exhausted when they got home.

Minho thought Kevin’s silence is just due to exhaustion.

“He fell asleep in the car.” Said Minho as Sulli is laying Kevin on the bed.

“Yeah…” said Sulli “Umm…Mr. Minho…can I talk to you?” asked Sulli

“Can I take a nap first?” asked Minho

“This will be very quick I promise.” Said Sulli

Minho and Sulli went to the living room.

“What is it?” asked Minho

“Umm…did Mr. Ralph get you a maid already?” asked Sulli

“Yes, he said she’ll come over tomorrow.” Said Minho

“Umm…that’s good.” Said Sulli

“Why? Are you feeling tired? I told you that you don’t need to-“ said Minho

“No…it’s fine…it’s just that…I decided to leave.” Said Sulli

“Huh?”

“I decided to go back to my parent’s house starting tomorrow.” Said Sulli

“But why?” asked Minho his chest tightening up

“Is there anything you didn’t like here?” asked Minho

“No…it’s perfect…this house is like a dream…But…” Sulli doesn’t know the right words to say

“You said you won’t adopt Kevin without my consent…I’m now giving my consent to you. But with that consent, it means Kevin needs to start learning how to live without me.” Said Sulli

“But why? Even if I adopt him, I promised you nothing will change, right?” said Minho

“No…maybe not now…but some things will definitely change…in the future.” Said Sulli “If you and Miss Krystal will ever get married, Kevin needs to start warming up to Ms. Krystal…and rely on her instead of me…as long as I’m around, He will never treat anyone else like a mother.” Said Sulli.

Sulli is fighting off her tears. She needs to be strong. This is for Kevin. Kevin needs this.

“Did Krystal talk to you earlier?” asked Minho

“Huh? Umm..No…I just think this is for the best…” said Sulli “And I am saying this to you not to get your opinion on the matter…but I’m telling this just so you know that I will be leaving tomorrow. Kevin will…surely be sad…and I’m sorry if I will leave you with the burden to cheer him up. Please buy lots of ripe mangoes for hi-“ Sulli can’t continue talking her voice is already breaking as her tears flowed from her eyes.

Minho pulled Sulli close to him but Sulli pushed back.

“Please don’t…that’s also one of the reasons why I need to leave…The past months…I’ve been in a roller coaster ride…especially my heart. Please stop doing things and saying things that will make me misunderstand your intentions. I don’t want to get false hopes…” said Sulli

Minho’s heart is beating fast.

“What do you mean?” asked Minho

“I think…that I…made a stupid mistake…And I’m sorry…I think that I … I like you… Not just as Kevin’s Dad…but you…you as Minho Choi…” said Sulli “And staying here with you…while knowing that  I’m hurting someone else…is just too much for me to bear.”

Minho felt like his heart is about to explode. Emotions inside him mixing up.

“Sulli…” Minho took a step towards Sulli but she stepped back.

“No…Please don’t move any closer. Every time you do…it makes my heart hope and ache at the same time. ” Said Sulli “I don’t want that anymore. I want to move on and be the way I was before…”

Sulli wiped her tears.

“I’m leaving t
