Transformation Ritual [ONE-SHOT]

The lights were bouncing off the walls, making incredible patterns that correlated with the music that was pounding out of the speakers, forcing the bodies inside of the club to dance and feel each other no matter what. Which is what drew Zitao in to the middle of the dance floor, where he closed his eyes and simply swung his hips to the beat, letting his own hands roam over his body. Letting out shaky breathes as he could feel the heat inside his own body grow higher, especially when the bodies surrounding him grew in numbers, and he was being pushed against in all directions.

But this was a part of the excitement. It made Zitao feel lost yet complete.

Suddenly, he could feel someone’s gaze on him, it was burning his flesh, and it felt incredibly dangerous. But this was what drew Zitao towards it. Looking around and finally opening his eyes, he wondered where this mysterious gaze was coming from.

And then he found it. His deep brown eyes were in lock with bright red ones, and even though it was abnormal, he felt strangely attracted to the blood colour.

But he only continued to dance, yet this time, he danced for that stranger. Touching his body more intimately, his hands moved over his chest and up to his neck, running his fingers through his raven hair as he stuck out his tongue and his dry lips.

He could see the stranger getting restless.

Chuckling deeply to himself, he moved his hips more, grinning as he could feel strangers from all sides rubbing up against him, and he knew that it made the red-eyed stranger jealous.

Leaning into whoever was behind, he closed his eyes and let his mouth fall agape, trying to look as seductive and pleasured as possible, to force the red-eyed stranger to approach him, and to make this night even better.

Suddenly, he could feel someone pull his wrists forward, taking him out of the dance floor and immediately dragging him towards a table, one that reminded him of where the stranger was standing. Zitao could only smile when he was pushed down on the chair, and as he looked up at the assailant, he grinned at how handsome he was up right close.

There was silence between them, and even though the other didn’t seem right at all, Zitao couldn’t help but feel insanely attracted to him.

Staying seated, he watched the stranger move his hand to his pocket, taking out a mobile phone and pressing some numbers in before placing it to his ear, and grinning, letting Tao see his gleaming white teeth.

Now his voice was deep and menacing.

“I’ve found mine.” The man said, his eyes brightening as he looked at Tao again. “I’ll bring him over.”

The phone call ended as soon as it started.

There was silence between them again, and Zitao could feel himself becoming hotter once again, his body was now aching for some sort of beverage. Looking around, his dry lips again he eyed the bar, and began to stand up and move over to it. Just as he had turned away from the red-eyed stranger, he felt strong arms move around his waist, pulling him back against the other’s chest, and a chilling voice whispered sensually into his ear.

“Where are you going?”

Zitao froze and his eyes unconsciously closed at how seductive the voice was. He could feel all sense slipping away from him, and all needs fly away.

“You’re not leaving me, are you?”

The young boy shook his head, he felt drowsy and dizzy, and if the other wasn’t holding him up he was sure his legs would’ve gave way and he would’ve fell. Letting his head roll to the side, he took a deep breath as he felt the stranger’s warm lips attach to his neck, lightly kissing him, which only increased the lack of control Zitao had over his body entirely.

The boy was panting slightly, and he could feel himself blacking out pretty soon.

What the hell did the other do to him?

“You feel that?” The stranger asked, one of his hands now roaming underneath Zitao’s black denim shirt, caressing his torso with incredibly warm fingers before he pressed his lips against the boy’s ear once again. “Feel yourself becoming weak?” Zitao didn’t even have the strength to nod anymore, his legs had already gone numb, and he didn’t even know how the other could hold him up with one arm only. Suddenly, the stranger turned him around so that their chests were now pressed up against each other, and Zitao could faintly see the other’s bright eyes again. “Your name, tell me your name.”

Zitao’s head kept on rolling side to side, he had hardly enough strength to keep it up, and he tried hard to raise his voice to answer that one question. But there was no sound escaping his lips at all.

“Name.” The other ordered, but Tao’s eyes could no longer even stay open, and he fell completely limp in the other’s hold, and his mind went blank.

His eyes fluttered open, the darkness surrounding him was a little worrying but he paid it no mind at the moment. Zitao sat up slowly, relishing in the fact the feelings were back into his limbs, and he was able to swing his legs over the side of the bed he was seemingly lying on, and he stood up. The boy bit his lip as he started to walk forward, taking only baby steps, and he realised that although it was dark, he could see everything clearly and perfectly.

It was if there was light illuminating the room, although it was impossible.

That’s why he could see where the door was, very clearly. Walking over to it, he turned the golden knob and stepped out, squinting his eyes a little as he was met with a very bright hallway. Walking down it, as carefully as he could, he suddenly approached stairs and just before he even thought about moving down them, he froze when he could hear voices conversing.

And it especially intrigued him when he was familiar with one of them.

Taking a seat on the first step, he quietly listened to the conversation, and it just so happened that apparently he was the topic of conversation at the moment.

“You don’t even know his name?”

“No, he passed out before he could tell me.” That was the voice of the stranger, most definitely.

“So what did you do then?”

“Can’t you tell? He’s up the stairs sleeping.”

“And then what are you going to do when he wakes up?”

There was silence and Zitao was leaning even closer forward, trying to hear what the next answer was because he was indeed curious of how he was getting out of this situation now. Even though, it was partially his fault for acting so… ty last night. There was only continued silence. Leaning forward even more, he accidently fell from his stair, and the next thing he knew, he was tumbling down the (thankfully) short length of stairs, groaning as hit the bottom and he could feel his head starting to pain like it was last night.

As he sat up, his body still trembling a little, he groaned and rubbed his head, trying to calm himself down.

Zitao finally managed to stand himself up, holding onto the wall a little as he caught his breath. When he regained himself, he bit his lip nervously. There was no way that the other strangers didn’t hear him falling down the stairs. Which meant they were either waiting until he went further into the room they were, or they were staring at him right now. In Tao’s mind, he really hoped that it was the first choice, but when he looked up, his bangs covering his eyes a little, he saw two men standing in front, smirks on their deep pink lips and their red-eyes brightening in excitement.

“You’re awake.” The man that he recognised from last night spoke up first, taking a few steps towards the boy.

“Yeah…” Tao replied, his eyes carefully watching over the other two.

“Did you sleep well?” The blonde asked, the smirk on his lips didn’t rest, it only grew wider with every step he took towards Zitao.

“I… I don’t remember.” Zitao replied, bringing a hand up to his head to rub it a little, trying hard to remember what happened, but all he could remember, was falling limp in the blonde’s arms after he had passed out. When he looked back up, the one from the night before was directly in front of him, and he soon found himself in the same position as last night, with the man’s arms around his waist, and he could feel himself drowning once again. Bringing up his hands whilst the strength still lingered there, he placed them against the blonde’s shoulder, and tried his hardest to push him away. “Please… don’t do that again…”

“Woah, he’s really into you huh?” The other stranger interrupted, but Tao didn’t care about him.

“Your name.” The blonde ordered, and Tao still had enough strength to say this time.

“Zitao…” he whispered, still trying desperately to push the other away because it was happening again, the headache, the trembling limbs and the caught throat.

The blonde smirked before finally letting Zitao go, and walking over to where the other man was, and suddenly, Zitao felt himself becoming better again. It was such a strange feeling. Looking back at the blonde, his eyes straightened a little.

“What… What have you done to me?” he wondered, taking a few deep breaths.

It wasn’t the blonde that spoke this time, but the other one who was currently in the room, and as he did speak, he moved forward, much like the other had done previously.

“You, Zitao, are very special.” The man said, his red-eyes exceptionally unsettling. He put out his hand and the other’s cheek softly. “My name is Kai.” He introduced himself as he pressed up against Zitao, grabbing his hair a little to pull his head back before he latched his mouth onto the boy’s pale neck. Zitao let out a little whine at the sudden pressure on his neck, and his hands moved up to grip onto Kai’s shoulders, his eyes closing as his mind tried to figure out what was going on.

“Kai.” A voice appeared, warning the other carefully.

Kai let go of the boy and stepped back, chuckling as he joined the boy at the back.

Zitao shook his head, hoping that this was all just a very, very confusing dream.

“Who are you guys?” Zitao asked, hoping that they’d give him a straight forward answer. Kai smirked and whipped his head to the blonde, waiting for him to answer their question. The blonde sighed before he crossed his arms and tilted his head, his eyes daring and his lips curved up into a smile.

“You want a straight answer?” he wondered, and Zitao nodded. “Okay. Wolves.”

The boy looked forward in confusion. Kai rolled his eyes at the other.

“My name is Wu Yifan, or you can call me Kris, I’m the Alpha wolf of my pack.” It was weird, he sounded so serious about this. “This is Kai, the beta wolf.” Kai smirked at the sound of his name. Zitao watched them carefully.

“…You’re serious?” he whispered, and Kris nodded instantly. “O…kay. Why am I here?” he asked, actually not really wanting to know the answer. To be honest, he thought they were crazed, and even if they were extremely hot and the red eyes totally worked for them (he didn’t want to think about why they were that colour) he really didn’t want to be involved in their work. Or thoughts. Or brainless and crazy games they seemed to be playing.

“You are here, because…” Kris spoke, but then he stopped, trying to think of the best way to continue this. Kai was silently laughing from the side. “Well, short story, I think you’re another Alpha wolf.”

Zitao’s head fell a little, and he rose an eyebrow at Kris.

“…Honestly? Sorry to tell you, but I’m not a wolf. Never have been. Fully fledged human actually.” Zitao pointed to himself, smiling sarcastically at them both. Kris and Kai shared a concerned look before the blonde took a few steps forward, but the other boy was quick to step back, not wanting a repeat of what had happened the last two times they got close. “Woah, stay back.” He warned, pointing at him accusingly.

“Zitao, trust me on this, you’ve witnessed how you feel around me right? That’s because we’re mates. You’re just… not a wolf… yet.” Kris said slowly, trying not to sound too crazy. Kai rolled his eyes.

“Stop being so nice Kris, just grab him and let’s take him to the pack.” Kai said, before he moved over to the front door and he left. Zitao watched him go before he turned to the blonde, and he could even see the other’s eyes grow darker. Taking a few more steps back, he cringed when his back hit the wall again, and Kris took this as his chance to prowl on him, and whisper softly to him.

“Come on, I promise you’ll feel great afterwards.”

Zitao could feel all of his strength get out of his body, just like before, and he bit his lip before letting his head fall and his chin hit his chest, ignoring the other’s touches over his skin because he could hardly feel them anyway. But now he really didn’t want to wake up, he was terrified of where he was going to wake up.

His body was trembling on the floor, his blood boiling and his head pounding from the pain. It was worse than what he had felt the previous nights, this was much more painful, and he could feel it all. Opening his eyes, he groaned as he rolled around the floor, trying desperately to get the pain out of his body, but it didn’t cease.

Looking around as his heart felt like it was trying to break out of his rib cage, he noticed that there was a hell of a lot of big dogs roaming around the field. Holy crap. He started to get nervous and worried, so he stood up, clutching his stomach in case anything fell out; and he ran forward, hoping the dogs wouldn’t see him at all.

Just as he was running at full speed, he crashed into someone and then he felt someone grabbing his arms.

“You’re awake Tao.” Kris whispered, grinning down at the boy whose face was red with fear. The boy started to calm down, and his body calmed down, actually, Kris was having the opposite effect on him that last time.

“What’s going… on?” The boy asked, just absolutely confused by the situation. “Why… was I in such pain before?” he asked, his eyes watering as the pain was still lingering a little through his body. The blonde chuckled before he explained.

“It’s the ritual. At first, we bond together – it’s a very strong feeling, which is why you passed out. Now, we’re ready for the next part, and that’s when you can’t stand it to be away from me.” The blonde explained, before he gazed deeply into the boy’s eyes. “Trust me, when this is over, you’ll feel wonderful.”

Tao closed his eyes, wanting to break away from him, but he felt so damn desperate to be near him as well.

“Why me?” he asked, his eyes flickering around to the giant dogs walking around them, each had a pair of blood red-eyes, just like Kris. Could he have been telling the truth? “And… what did you mean… by bonding?” he wondered, he didn’t like that word. The older giggled a little, the innocence of the younger was rather brightening.

“Just being close to each other was us bonding. Don’t worry, we don’t have to do anything… yet.” The way he said it sent shivers down Tao’s spine. “But for now, would you like to… see something?” he asked, holding out his hand for the other to take, and when Zitao did, he was pulled away through the woods, until they finally reached a sparkling lake. It was breathtakingly beautiful, and Zitao ran to the edge, a smile running across his lips as he took in the sight.

The water was as clear as it could be, and it was calling out to him. A part of him wanted to dive in the middle, and just swim in it. He wanted to let the water take him whole, swallow him deeply and let him drift away to another world. Ignoring Kris, he smiled again and began to take a few steps forward, not caring that his shoes and trousers were getting wet now, only that the water felt fantastic against his skin, and he felt at peace.

Kris watched the boy enter the water deeper and deeper, and he could only grin. Zitao was definitely his missing mate.

Zitao giggled a little as the water now reached his neck, but he didn’t want to stop. It’s like his body was calling out for more, and it was taking control over his mind and heart. The boy knew what would happen if he moved in any deeper, but it didn’t seem to nudge him at all. Closing his eyes gently, he took a few more steps into the water, until he was completely submerged. The water was soothing, almost healing.

Kris watched the boy step underwater, and not come up for a while.

“How did he know?” Kai suddenly appeared, looking onto the water’s surface.

“Because it’s natural. I told you, he’s the other Alpha wolf.” Kris said, folding his arms across his chest as he watched Tao as well. Kai nodded in agreement.

“How long does he have to stay under?” he asked.

“As long as it takes. He’ll stay underneath until he feels different. It’s a sacred lake, used to bring out the power in many wolves.” The Alpha male explained, sighing because it seemed that even the Beta wolf didn’t remember his initiation. Then again, it was so long ago, so he probably wouldn’t remember much, not that he listened or cared anyway.

The sun soon set, and Kai had left from being too bored. Kris was rather impressed though.

This was the longest initiation he had ever seen.

Or… maybe Zitao wasn’t his mate.

Shaking his head, he let that thought leave him, he definitely was. He was drawn to the boy when he first saw him, and the fact of the way Zitao acted around him, was definitely the behaviour of the person he was looking for. Waiting patiently, another couple of hours passed and there was still no sign of Zitao emerging.

That was until there was a couple of bubbles suddenly rising to the top of the water surface.

Perking up, he watched the space quietly, and when he saw a surprising red head emerge, he stared in admiration.

Zitao moved closer to the shore line, his body dripping from the water, but he felt alive, or more like regenerated. When he hit dry land, he took a deep breath as he closed his eyes, stopping to catch his breath before opening them and staring at Kris who was looking at him in astonishment.

“What?” Zitao asked cautiously.

Kris stared at him, his lips curving up into a grin as he took in the other’s slightly changed appearance, but damn he looked ier, and much more handsome. The boy’s black raven hair had magnificently changed colour, it was now a deep red, the slight bags under his eyes were much more defined which allowed his red-coloured eyes to stand out a lot more, making him look exotic and mysterious.

“You’re… beautiful.” Kris whispered, but he didn’t want to make any drastic moves at the moment, even though the other didn’t realise it, he was extremely tense and dangerous at the moment. Zitao tilted his head in confusion before he turned back to the water, leaning down to check out his reflection against it. And when he did, he couldn’t believe what was staring back at him.

“What…” he ran a hand through his red hair. “…Happened?”

Kris smirked.

“I told you, you’re a wolf.”

Tao turned back around to him and scoffed.

“I’m not an animal just now.” He said, motioning to his own body. The blonde laughed at how sarcastic the other was.

“Obviously. Come on, the change isn’t complete yet.” He held out his hand again, and Zitao took it instantly. When their hands touched, he felt an instant electronic and humane connection, but it was all too shady to make sense of anything right now. Zitao let himself get dragged through the woods once again until he was brought to a house that was conveniently placed in the woods, but it looked rather grand.

When he entered, he could see that it was definitely expensive by the furniture placed around the place. Kris continued to take him through the place, until they reached the main room, where there was already a number of other red-eyed people sitting there, having light conversation.

“Everyone be quiet.” Kris said, his voice echoing through the room and everyone immediately stopped conversing with each other and turned to him. It was pure authority. With each second he was here, Zitao was beginning to believe what he was told. No matter how unbelievable it sounded. “This is Zitao. He is another Alpha.” Kris explained, pointing to the boy beside him. Kai’s ears immediately perked up at the sound of the name, and he grinned when he saw how the boy looked. “But he’s still to go under the transformation.”

Everyone’s eyes were laid on Tao, which was making him extremely nervous.

He looked at Kris from the side who was just smiling.

“Shall we go for the final transformation?” he asked, but Tao shook his head.

“What is it?” He asked, he wasn’t about to do something he didn’t want to. That water thing was just out of his control and he didn’t like it. “Please tell me?” he asked, and the blonde sighed but he nodded all the same.

“Okay well, the last part of the transformation is the mark. Once you get tattooed, you should be able to turn into a giant wolf.”

Zitao thought about it, before his eyes widened.

“A tattoo?” he asked, and Kris nodded. “…and that’s it?” Another nod. “…Okay.”

What the hell was he thinking? Zitao didn’t want to say yes, but he couldn’t help himself, his mind wasn’t his own anymore, it didn’t belong to him at all.

The next couple of minutes was rather odd.

Firstly, Kris took him to the middle of the large spatial room and set him down, stepping away and walking over to one of the people situated in the room, and he whispered something to him, making the stranger smirk and turn to Zitao, his lips. Zitao suddenly felt like he was being watched by every single person in the room. He should’ve asked much more about this tattoo placement. Like where it was going to be, what was going to be applied to his skin, and who was going to be doing the applying.

Before he could do anything, the stranger who Kris whispered to approached him and knelt down beside him, smiling.

“Don’t move. Don’t scream. Just let me do whatever I want.”

That was certainly the words Zitao had never wanted to hear in his entire life.

The man’s hands started to move up to the top buttons on his black shirt he was still wearing, ing them slowly whilst keeping eye contact. As the buttons were each undone separately, the stranger continued on and started to talk to him whilst Zitao kept looking around, wondering where Kris had wondered off to. He was kind of hoping to have him to the tattooing, but he really didn’t want to think about why he was currently getting stripped.

“My name is Chen by the way. I’m the delta wolf. Basically meaning I’m learning on how to take Kai’s place.” He explained, before his eyes brightened when he slipped the shirt off of Zitao’s shoulders, the other’s smooth abs were glistening and he his lips. “You’re very built.” He said, and Tao rolled his eyes and looked away when the other’s hands continued to move across his torso, softly him. Although it’d be very easy for him to knock the other’s hand away, he didn’t want to mess anything up. No, he didn’t want to mess anything up.

Once his shirt was off, Chen stepped away and chuckled before disappearing.

Zitao was left alone, until someone else entered the room. Someone who looked very pretty, and he was rather small, but the eyeliner he honed on his eyes made him look fierce.

“My name is Baekhyun.” Was all he said before he approached the boy on the floor, and immediately started unbuckling his belt.

Zitao’s eyes widened.

“What are you doing?” he asked, but Baekhyun ignored him. Continuing to undress him, he stopped when Zitao was lying on his back, completely and he looked expressionless. Baekhyun stood up and stared down at the boy, waiting until he was quickly accompanied by the Alpha male who smirked when he saw Zitao’s state.

“Get me the necessary tools Baekhyun, it’s time.”

When Baekhyun left the room, Kris moved over to Zitao and fell to his knees beside him, his hair softly as their eyes met. Smiling, he moved down and whispered softly in the boy’s ear.

“This’ll hurt, but after this everything will be over. You’ll be an Alpha wolf, a leader, like me. And we’ll be mates. It’s a life you’ll love, trust me.” Kris explained as he leaned back, glowering over the boy’s body – it was absolute perfection. Baekhyun soon returned with the necessary tools to brand him and he handed them over to the leader before leaving the room. Kris smiled before he moved over Tao and straddled him sensually, rolling his hips a little against Zitao’s bare flesh which made an exotic and angelic moan leave the boy’s mouth. “Focus on this.” Kris whispered as he continued to grind into the boy before he start to shove the buzzing needle onto his torso, closing his eyes tightly as the other let out a pained whine, but when he opened them, he watched Tao calm down.

It took him around half an hour to complete the brand, and the pain had numbed in the first five minutes as Tao took his advice and focused mainly on what Kris was doing with his hips.

The tattoo itself was an amazing brand to look at.

The outside was in the shape of a red circle, it resembled the colour of their eyes. Inside was a sketch of the wolf, which was also red, but it looked fierce and dark – exactly the way they were. Kris had always admired their sign, it was something remarkable, and to finally be able to brand it on his mate was absolute pleasure.

Zitao had passed out eventually, and Kris had taken this time to fully dress him again, and lay him on the couch before he returned to the rest of the pack, discussing little things but mostly trying to pass the time until his mate finally awoken. When Zitao did wake, he would be slightly different. He may not be able to transfer at the moment, but he would be able to feel and sense that Kris was his mate, and their blissful relationship would start there.

And just as Kris was getting a little impatient, he heard slight chuckling coming from behind him.

Stopping the conversation he was currently involved in, he turned around and set his sights on the couch where his mate lay sleeping. Well, not anymore. Zitao was now awake, sitting up and he had his head in his hands as he lowly chuckled constantly. When he finally looked up to look at Yifan, both of them could immediately feel the drastic pull.

Kris got up from his seat, the exact same time Zitao did.

They took the same number of steps until they reached each other.

Zitao was still shirtless, and that tattoo did wonders for his appeal, and Kris silently noted in his brain to thank the maker for giving him such a y and wonderful mate. But before he could even speak to the younger wolf, his lips were attacked by Zitao’s in a bruising and rough kiss that he was only too keen to return.

Both of them moaned in unison as their tongues met halfway, fighting each other for dominance and the older had to admit that Zitao was putting up a hell of a fight.

Zitao clenched his eyes closed and gripped onto Kris’s shirt, pulling him instantly closer as he tilted his head to give easier access to his mouth. Finally giving up, he let the blonde dominate his mouth, sensually and loudly as his mouth was explored and inevitably taken by the other. Kris was putting so much force into the kiss, Zitao could feel his back beginning to bend backwards. The other had to let his hand lay on the other’s spine just to make sure he wouldn’t fall.

They finally separated and simply stared into each other’s blood red eyes.

Zitao smirked and moved a little forward, grabbing Kris’s hair to pull him back so that he could dart out his tongue and a long strip up the wolf’s long and muscular neck. The blonde shivered at the other’s obvious dominance.

“So…” Zitao finally spoke, he was feeling hyped and excited, much better than he had ever felt before, and he was glad Kris was telling the truth when he mentioned this. He let one of his hands slide down Kris’s stomach before it moved around to his back, falling to his and he gave it a very harsh squeeze. “When do we get to the mating part?” he asked.

Kris’s mouth fell open.

“Uh… excuse me.” Rushing out of the room, the Alpha wolf ran to his own bedroom, falling to his knees at the side of the bed, and he lay his elbows on the covers, smashing his hands together and closing his eyes immediately. “Thank you, dear Lord, for giving me the iest, most exciting, best and horniest mate I could ask for.”

Hearing someone giggling, he turned around and was met with Zitao, leaning against his doorframe.

“The Lord isn’t going to mate with you.”

Kris chucked.

“No I hope not.”

Both of them laughed before Zitao moved forward and slammed the door behind him shut hard.

Fin.
