                CeCe let out a sigh walking around her living room. “Where is he? I know he said he was going to be late but….” She trailed off looking down at her cell. It was almost time for their “date” though date wasn’t the right word for it. It would be more like a hang out day. She was excited none the less. She was dressed up in a nicepink sun dress and a pair of black flats; she had straitened her hair and put on a little eyeliner and mascara. He purse was on her shoulder and was ready for Kris to get there.

                There was a light knock followed by a “CeCe. You home?”  CeCe rolled her eyes and opened the door to find a rather adorable looking Kris. He was holding a little pirate alpaca plush. “You brought Ace with you I see.” She teased. He nodded “So you ready to go?” he asked changing the subject. She nodded flicking off the living room light and shutting the front door and locking it on her way out.  

“So, where are we going?” she asked staring up at the tall man.

“Anywhere you want I guess.” He shrugged.

CeCe thought a moment putting a finger on her chin.  “I don’t know you pick the place I can’t decide.”

“Alright follow me then.” He said with a smirk.

“Where are we going?” she asked curiosity thick in her voice.

“First the movies” he said with a smile and wink.

She nodded and followed him into a big movie theater. When they got up to the ticket booth CeCe started to get out her wallet.

“no I got this. You aren’t gonna spend money today.” He said with a smile.

She Blushed moving her hands away from her bag. They got some popcorn and drinks and headed into the theater. They were going to watch Iron Man 3.  “I heard this movie was really good. I liked the other ones so I hope this is as good as people say.” CeCe said with a smile and popping a piece of popcorn into .

“eh. I just hope there is good action in this.” He said with a shrug.  The movie started and they went silent.

                The movie was over and they both stretched heading for the door. “That was such a good movie.” CeCe grinned.

“Yeah it was.” He agreed tucking Ace under his arm. 

“Were to next?”,  she asked as they started walking down the street.

“Hmmm. How does the zoo sound. I’ve never been there and I kinda want to see what it’s like.” He said thoughtfully.

“sounds like fun.” She said with a chuckle.

 

                They both took a taxi to the zoo. After paying the driver they went and stood in line for the tickets.

“There is a lot of people here today….” CeCe said looking up at Kris.

“yeah but that’s ok.” He said looking back. CeCe was a little worried that someone might recognize him but he seemed sure and that made her feel a bit better.

They walked around looking at all the different animals and taking pictures with their phones of each other. They were having a blast…till it started to rain.

“Oh man!” CeCe cried putting her bag over her head to keep her hair dry.

“Come on.” Kris said pulling her to the nearest building witch was a small tower that looked over the zoo and some of the town. It was almost completely empty except for a couple of people about to leave. “let’s go up and look.” CeCe said with a smile grabbing his hand and leading him up the steep staircase.

                Once at the top they went to the window and looked out. “funny it’s still nice even though it’s raining.” He said wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

“yeah.” She mumbled feeling herself blush. They watched as the rain came down on the city. It truly was a beautiful sight.

 

After the rain had stopped they headed back down. It was going to be dark soon and he needed to take her home even though he didn’t want to, he wanted to spend more time with her. They got in a taxi and went back to her house.

“I hope we can do this again sometime.” He said walking her to her door. “yeah me too.” She said with a smile. “I had fun today. Thank you for taking me out.”

“No problem. I had fun too.” He said returning her smile. She walked to her door and turned to face him. “Thanks again.” She said. “yeah. Yeah. Well you should go get some sleep I’ll talk to you later.” He said about to turn and walk down the hall but stopped himself. He leaded down and gave her a peck on the lips. “goodnight,” he said. “night.” She said back.

And with that he gave her one last smile before heading down the sidewalk. CeCe watched him till she couldn’t see him anymore. So this is what it’s like to be loved. She grinned and walked back into her house closing the door behind her.
