Wasted Time
Wasted TimeSo I challenged myself to write 300 words of something everday bu this ones 307 =.= i cant win at life
Tao liked to waste his time at the beach, taking quiet strolls undisturbed and alone. This is when Tao’s thoughts come out, lost dreams and regrets rearing their ugly heads. Alone, and only alone, would he let his tears fall.
Drip drip.
Down swallowed by the endless ocean. He walks and walks until the tears run dry and the thoughts quiet down leaving him empty. Afterwards, he drags himself away from the comforting scenery and into his dreary, colorless apartment where no one was waiting for him but the steady tick of the clock. Wasted time. The only time where he could break himself and pick them up one by one.
((And sometimes his hands would bleed because the pieces would be too sharp but there was no one else there. No one was ever there to help him pick up the remaining pieces too small for his own eyes to catch.))
He passed each day following the same routine, alone but never minding the loneliness because he never knew any other feeling.
Yet, Tao’s been told there’s always a time for change and his came in the shape of soft, round cheeks and a worn out gummy smile. The change called itself Xiumin. A little accented but cute. Cute. That was one way to define him. He was all soft curves and kind warmth and Tao, sort of, never wanted to say goodbye.
((So, he didn’t.))
He somehow found his once colorless apartment, painted with every color of the rainbow as Xiumin settled into his home.
Our home, Xiumin kindly reminded him behind closed doors, the lights off as they breathed in each other’s scent wrapped in one another’s arms.
And the ocean was no longer his haven. Instead, he would break in Xiumin’s arms ((he helped pick up all the pieces,
even the sharp ones)).
ABRUPT ENDING CUZ WORD COUNT OK
