Description
Jonghyun is kidnapped all so suddenly by a band of thieves labeled “Unknowns” when walking his way to the local grocery. Jonghyun is minded at first, and all he wants is to get back to his sick mother and hungry incapable little brother. Jonghyun finds out the hard way that there is absolutely no escape, and has to choose between training as an Unknown or to die. Jonghyun stays, hoping that there would be a day when he would be let out, before his mother passes on, so he may see her and his dear little brother again. Every other member tells him it’s impossible, and to not let up his hopes, but his roommate, a soft hearted but strong person and Jonghyun’s ally-to-be, tells him there is a way, but it’s close to impossible. Their leader, who has never shown his face to anyone, would let them all out if he were to fall into one’s traps and reveal his face.
Foreword
Jonghyun sat quietly on the pasture of his family’s small, poor, little farm, and watched the chickens eat. He sighed, and thought about what it would be like to be able to not worry about how to get food and money all the time. He needed both, and both were the hardest to get. He needed the money for his mother’s health – she’d been sick all month. He needed the food to well, survive.
As Jonghyun sat and thought, his little brother, Taemin ran up to him. Jonghyun turned his head at the direction of the loud footsteps. He smiled when he saw his brother.
“Taemin-ah, what is it?” Jonghyun asked.
“Umma asks if it’s okay for you to go buy some food,” Taemin said quietly, and held out his little hand. There were four coins in it.
“Of course, Taemin-ah, just tell umma I’ll go now, okay?” Jonghyun took the coins and held them tight.
“Araso, hyung.” Taemin ran back to the little cabin house.
As Jonghyun headed out to the door of the broken down fencing, he looked back at the direction towards his brother and mother, and sighed.
