Where's Waldo? (discontinued)

Description

Wooyoung hated common appearances. It astounded and bothered him that so many people in Korea could look the same. He hated the commonality of his fans' faces whenever they approached him during events; same eyes, same nose, same hairstyle, and same face.

Now, don't get him wrong, Wooyoung loved all of his fans. He just wished they'd shake up their looks a little and at the least, try to be a bit different from the rest. How could he show people that he loved them, if they all appeared the same to him?

Now, I bet you're thinking, "Wow, what a superficial douche bag."

And you're absolutely right. Yes, Wooyoung was a bit superficial when it came to looks. And yes, he occasionaly acted like a douche bag. But his shallowness came from his determination to find his Waldo.

And now you're probably thinking, "Wooyoung is looking for a man?! Is he gay?"

No, Jang Wooyoung is not gay. He is perfectly straight.

By Waldo, he meant the one person who would stand out from a crowd of millions. The person who was unique, not common, would be his Waldo. Her beauty would outshine others and her talents would shine brightly. But, he didn't know that commonality of his girl would be the thing that made her stand out from the crowd.

Finding love is similar to the child's game of "Where's Waldo?". When one plays "Where's Waldo?", they must search for Waldo amongst a sea of other characters. The game of love is the same. When playing the game of love, you must search for the person who is unique to you amongst a sea of millions...

Foreword

So, one day I was scrolling through asianfanfictions. On the bottom of the front page was a list of Newly Updated Stories. Several stories under the Updated category looked the same. All had the similar plots and almost all the titles had some relation to falling in love or breaking up with their favorite idol.

Just as I was getting bored of the similar titles, I stumbled upon MusicChibi's Challenges. Currosity hit me and I found myself clicking to read the types of challenges given. Why not challenge myself?, I thought. In a matter of minutes, I was typing in the comment section. I typed something that was similar to "2PM Challenge Number 8". The next day, I had recieved my challenge.

Well, that was almost over a month ago and I still hadn't updated this story. But, here I am now! Ready as ever to challenge myself and Music Chibi's harsh reviews! So here we go!

A one-shot for the MusicChibi Challenge.

THE CHALLENGE.

MusicChibi's 2PM Challenge o8: Wooyoung, although loved, always feels as though he's missing something. Until he meets a girl. She's not gorgeous and she doesn't stand out. Nothing about her "stands out" when it comes to her appearance, but he can't help but fall in love with her. He loves her and her "beautiful" soul. That was all that mattered--even if the fans and his fellow bandmates disapproved of her. How you go about this is up to you, but this is your challenge. Good luck!
