narrator's p.o.v.

it's been quite a while since dongho and jieun talked.

somedays they would have small conversations and such but they would be one or two word conversations.

things like "hey" or "how are you." "i'm fine.".

dongho's school schedule has been renewed and surprisingly, the two of them became classmates.

but even though they were classmates, they dont talk or greet each other that often.

eversince the canteen incident, dongho kept thinking of jieun, and as for jieun, she kept thinking of dongho.

the two had been thinking of each other lately.

dongho thinks of jieun but complains. 

things like 'why do i still think of her?' 'this doesn't even make any sense.' kept running through his mind.

the more he tries forgetting about jieun makes him fall in love even more.

'we've talked to each other more than shortly, but i feel like i've known her all my life.' dongho thought. 'why am i even feeling this way?'

dongho sighed.

jieun on the other hand kept thinking of the incident.

she smiled to herself.

she found it sweet, she found dongho sweet. 

he might be popular but he seems nice.

maybe he wasnt stupid. wait, he isn't stupid.

he's just sweet, that's all.

jieun smiled at her thoughts.

her thoughts of the canteen incident,

her thougts on the accidental meeting,

her thoughts on the coffee thing.

her thoughts on when dongho said he missed her,

her thoughts on dongho.

'maybe i am inlove..' jieun thought to her self. 'i probably am.'

"YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM HIM"

"YOU'LL END UP BROKEN HEARTED"

Jieun's smile faded as she remember her friends words.

'i know they are right but..' ji eun sighed

'why is this so complicated?' she thought again.

"JIEUN AND DONGHO PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME AND QUIT DAYDREAMING." The teacher called out to them.

"i'm sorry, sir." ji eun said and appologized.

"yeah, me too." dongho said.

the teacher rolled his eyes.

jieun looked over to dongho who was seated three rows from jieun's back.

jieun and dongho smiled to each other with 'well that was pretty embarassing' written across their faces

the two of them giggled a bit, embarassed at themselves.

"what were you thinking??" dongho asked mouthing to jieun

"what????" jieun asked mouthing as well, not being able to understand what the boy was asking.

"what-"

"MISS JIEUN AND MISTER DONGHO I AM HAVING A CLASS HERE AND YOU DARE STREAM OFF AND TALK TO EACH OTHER?" The teacher exclaimed

"were sor-"

"GO TO THE BACK OF THE CLASSROOM AND KEEP YOUR ARMS UP UNTIL THE END OF THE PERIOD!" the teacher exclaimed.

both of them sighed and stood up.

they went to the back of the classroom and raised their arms.

"i'm sorry i got you into this." dongho said sighing.

"it's fine, really. it's my fault too." jieun replied.

"it's not. it's mine. stop blaming yourself, alright?" dongho said looking at jieun, half-smiling.

"i can't." jieun replied.

"why not?" dongho asked 

"well it's because you have done too much for me already and.."

"and..."

"well yeah, that's about it." jieun replied.

dongho smiled.

"lets talk again later, dongho. the teacher might catch us again." jieun said.

"yeah." dongho simply replied.

"as i was saying we will be having a fieldtrip a few days from now." the  teacher said.

"fieldtrip huh?" jieun said silently.

"i know huh." dongho replied.

"it'll be this friday, so make sure you pic a partner by then." the teacher said "class dismissed." 

the students stood up.

jieun and dongho sighed in relief.

"finally." jieun said.

"i know." dongho said.

"ow my shoulders hurt." jieun said.

"mine too." dongho said

"so, a feildtrip huh?" dongho said.

"yeah i guess so." jieun replied.

"so do you have a partner already?" dongho asked her.

"no i haven't, actually." jieun replied.

"well i dont either." dongho said "would you?" dongho asked half smiling and raising his shoulders.

jieun kept quiet.

"i'll think about it." she said and smiled.

"alright then" dongho relied

the two of them smiled to each other and left
