“Sooyoung!” A voice called out Sooyoung’s name. It was rather whisper.

KKKKRRRIIIIINNNGGGGG~

The bell rang and the students start to leave their room. Suddenly, a hand wrapped her arm as Sooyoung bowed her head. It was her bestfriend, Kim Taeyeon. They both walk to the hallway together.

“Soo, I know that Math is hard but you really should stop sleeping in her class! You’ll get in BIIIGG trouble for that!”

“I know! It’s just that~”

“That???”

Sooyoung smiled widely and faced Taeyeon, “I dreamt about him! Ahhh! He’s so cute! In my dream, he was holding my hand and he was about to kiss me!” Sooyoung was really happy. Taeyeon just shook her head as she watches her bestfriend talks about her dream.

“You know, it’s never gonna happen, Choi Sooyoung!” Taeyeon said making Sooyoung glare at her

“Just wait and see, Kim Taeyeon. He’ll be mine! Soon!” Sooyoung said giving her friend a wink

“Oh, really? And when will that happen, huh, young lady? He doesn’t even know you!” Taeyeon said and sarcastically laugh

“Aniyo! He doesn’t only know my name!” Sooyoung said, “I know he knows me very well. I assure you. I caught him a lot of times, he was staring at me!”

“Oh, please, Choi Sooyoung. Stop fantasizing!” Taeyeon said as she rolls her eyes good naturedly, “We both know it’s never gonna happen”

“You just wait and see. All I have to do is make myself a total stranger to him, although it’s going to be hard as I completely knew him” Sooyoung said holding both hands, “BUT it’s all for the better! He’ll fall in love with me. And I’ll make sure of that!”

After lunch, Sooyoung and Taeyeon were walking at the hallway. They were talking happily about their studies and even made fun of their teachers. Their class was soon to end.

“Did you see Mrs. Park’s face when you asked her?” Taeyeon said laughing

“I don’t know what was going on with that teacher! She really must have hated me! I just asked her and she suddenly gets mad and scolds me! What was wrong with her?”

Taeyeon laughs, “Ya! It’s because you embarrassed her in front of the class!”

“I just ask her a question!”

“Ne. You asked her a question but she doesn’t know the answer so she got embarrassed!”

Suddenly, all the students started running. They didn’t know what was happening.

“A male student from the other school!”  One of the students who were running announced

“I bet its Bang Yong-gup again!” Sooyoung said annoyed, “Aish! That guy! Is he really that great to make all the girls go wild?”

A student bumps Sooyoung that made her fall on her knees. Suddenly, everyone got quiet.

“Aish” Sooyoung said as she stands up. Taeyeon was bit stunned.

“Choesonghaeyo, Agassi.” It was the male student from the other school, “Are you hurt somewhere?”

Sooyoung wipes the dirt in her skirt and picks up her books and bag. She then turned around and goes away with Taeyeon.

 “What a dumb!? Is he blind? Didn’t he see me?” Sooyoung exclaimed, loud enough for him to hear

The guy was left standing. By the tone of her voice and how she acted, he can tell that she hated him for that.

“Ya! Lee Donghae!” His cousin approached him dressed in semi-formal attire. “What happened?”

“She got hurt because of me.” Donghae said, “She surely hated me for it!”

After the class, it was raining so hard. It seems as there was a storm that night. Donghae was standing outside of his school when he happens to see a girl went out of the school with someone.

“I hope my plan will be successful.” The girl said to the other, “Korom. Be careful! Annyeong!”

He looked closely and found out that it was Sooyoung with Taeyeon. He decided to follow her. Sooyoung was on her way to home. She has to finish her duties as the Class President that she’s coming home late. Fortunately, she passed by an old church and decided to come on in and stay until the rain stops.

As she went inside, she was amazed by its beautiful structure. She has never obviously been there. As she was looking at the structures, she accidentally bumps into someone.

“Ouch!” Sooyoung exclaimed in pain as she fell on her knees again

She then saw a hand and looked up. It was a guy dressed in semi-formal attire with a bit messy wet hair. He offers his hand to her to help her stand but she didn’t take it and stand up on her own. However, she went out of balance and almost fell to the floor again. Thankfully, the guy was able to catch her. She then wipes off the dirt in her uniform. Before he could walk away, Sooyoung called him.

“Um…” Sooyoung said, “Thank you!”

The guy chuckled, “I thought you won’t say anything at me!”

“Bwa? Look, I may hate you but it doesn’t mean I don’t know how to thank~”

“It’s beautiful here, right?” The guy said looking at the structures before finally looking at her

Sooyoung sat down at the bench near her and was soon followed by the guy.

“I’ve never been here. It’s my first time but I do hear a story once.” He said

“It was a tragic sad love story” Sooyoung added, “But I was never fan of Shakespeare”

“Huh?” He asked what she meant by that

“The story” Sooyoung said, “Doesn’t it seem like it was ‘somehow’ similar to Shakespeare’s greatest play ever written in history, The Romeo and Juliet?”

“ Does it?” He asked chuckling a bit, “I don’t know. But I think, Shakespeare wrote this play because of this story. I think, Shakespeare was able to hear about this Old Church’s Story”

“Oh yeah? Like that story was ever true?!” Sooyoung said sarcastically

“Like Romeo and Juliet was ever true?!” He throws back the question

“At least the fact that the original story is Shakespeare’s though it’s non-fictional.” Sooyoung defended

“Well let’s hear what the parents’ of the girl has got to say and also the girl and boy!” He said as he stands up asking Sooyoung to join him

“How can you? They were lllooongg~ dead!” Sooyoung asked surprised, thrilled by his idea.

“Well, how did you know? Shakespeare was dead!” He said, “Did he by any chance tell you that it was his original story?”

Sooyoung was left in silence. The guy smiled to this.

“Well, so is the Old Church’s Story!” Sooyoung finally said, “In fact, no one can really tell what the truth behind those stories is. Even the greatest historian can never say so”

He laughed, “As I was saying.”

A moment or so passed by and they started laughing so loud.

“Anyway, where are you from? Based on your accent you’re not from here.”

“Oh! Is that so? But I lived here.” He said, “It might be because I get used to our hometown accent. We used it when we’re conversing in our house. Anyway, I’m—“

Sooyoung stopped him, “Ani! It is better that we don’t know each other’s name! Ah! We can call each other in nicknames! I can call you…um….Ah! Aiden!”

“Aiden?” He asked, “I like it. I actually don’t like my real name”

“Well, then it’s nice to meet you, Aiden” Sooyoung said as she puts emphasis on Aiden

“Then I shall call you…Summer, as your eyes sparkle like a flower in the middle of the shiny day and your face like the sunrays that hits the surface of the earth and your sweet voice like tulips calling out thy name”

“Oh! That was too much for a romantic guy like you! I should have known better that you are indeed a fan of Shakespeare, catching every people in the world with his playful words striketh through thy hearts” Sooyoung teased, “But thanks for the compliment”

“I’m glad you like it” Aiden said

“We shall then call each other in nicknames” Sooyoung announced happily

As they went out of the church, Donghae saw Sooyoung with the other guy. He was a bit shocked seeing them together. He just decided to go home and pretend as if he didn’t see anything.

As the day passed, Sooyoung can’t help fall asleep as she was thinking deeply of her new acquaintance. She can’t wait as they meet each other again.

Sooyoung was at the garden where she is studying her lessons. She just loves the nature so much that she prefers studying there. While she was solving the Math equation, suddenly a shadow of a person was seen. She then heard a voice of a male spoken.

“Annyeong Haseyo!” The guy said, “I’m sorry to interrupt but can I ask you something?”

“Wae? What is it?” Sooyoung said a bit irritated

She hates someone disturbing her especially when she was doing her math homework. She needs a lot of focus to answer the equation. She wasn’t looking at the guy because she doesn’t want to lose her focus

“Um… I just… wanna... know…” The guy doesn’t know if she was paying attention or not and so he just sat in front of her and help her answer the equation.

“You factor the equation first and then multiply them” The guy point it out

After minutes, they were finally able to answer all the Math problems.

“Ahhh~ Finally!” Sooyoung exclaimed. She really has a lot of problem answering it but thanks to him, she finally did it.

“Now, can you help me?” The guy said

Sooyoung finally looked at him. “YOU?! Why are you here?”

The guy was actually the one he got bumped with “Actually I am looking for someone”

 “Oh! You mean… your girlfriend!”

“Aniyo! She was my friend’s sister!” He explained, “Anyways, I was lost so I was hoping…”

“WHAT? YOU were LOST???” Sooyoung said almost laughing, “Are you sure? You know our school is really not that big!”

“Because I’m stupid???” He said annoyed, “You know, if you can’t help me then just say it”

“Fine! You helped me in my Math problem!” Sooyoung said and finally she packed all her things and put on her bag. “Come with Me!”

While they were on the way, “What’s her name?”

“Huh?”

“The name of the student you are looking for?”

“Ah! Jung Yuna!” He answered, “She was-“

He was stopped when Sooyoung stopped in a particular room. He quickly went to her and looked at her.

“Why did you stop?”

“Jung Yuna, right? It’s here!”

“Whoah! Wait! Are you-“

“For your information, Mister, I am a student here in Jungshin High School and I know every room, every way and every people here in this school!” Sooyoung said, “Now if you excuse me, I have a class to attend!”

Sooyoung then left him in awe. He couldn’t believe it. It was the first time he had encountered such person in his life. Suddenly, Yuna came to him.

“You know her?” Yuna asked

“No, I asked her where your room is” He answered, “You know her?”

“Choi Sooyoung? Who doesn’t? She’s the campus’ chick!” Yuna said, “She was also a freshman here but she seriously got it in her. She knows everything here”

“Yeah! I was pretty surprised myself!”

“I’m sure you two will be close. She’s really nice! Though, it doesn’t seem to be so. Well, looks can be deceiving!” Yuna said as she watches the guy beside her

“Yeah! I think so too!” He said, “So, Choi Sooyoung, huh?”

“Come on, Hae! She’s too good for you.” Yuna joked

“Ha-ha, funny, Yuna” Donghae said

Donghae has finally moved in to his Aunt’s house. He moved all by himself because he wanted to be an idol like his father once dreamt. Donghae was at the barn with his cousin behind his Aunt’s house. They were sitting.

“I love it here!” Donghae exclaimed, “Everything seems so simple. It’s very refreshing!”

“But I know there’s one more reason why you like it here” His cousin said as if he knew something else, “Ya! Tell me about the girl you’ve been following”

“BWA? What are you talking about?”

“Come on! You can never hide it from me!”

“I don’t know what you are talking about!” Donghae said smiling

“Oh, please! You can never lie! You don’t even know how to lie!” His cousin said, “Choi Sooyoung?”

“WAIT- how did you?”

“Come on, Hae. I lived here. How is it possible that I don’t know the people that live in this place?”

“So you really knew her? Have you met her?” Donghae asked suddenly

“Whoah! Wait! Take it easy! Well I know her. Her older sister, Soojin is actually my schoolmate”

“Ah! That’s why” Donghae uttered

“What do you mean?”

Donghae was a bit startled, “AH! Aniyo! It was nothing”

It was Sunday morning. Sooyoung was walking by herself at the field. She always loves going there ever since she was a kid. She loves there especially the windmill. She then sat by next to the big tree. It was very windy there. Suddenly, someone came and cover her eyes.

“YA! NUGUYA!”

“Guess who?” The guy whispers in her ear. She knew that voice. She can’t be wrong.

“Aiden!” Sooyoung said happily and then looked at him

He then sat next to her. “So, you finally decided to explore our place!”

“Yeah! I thought it was quite beautiful and interesting!” He said laughing, “So, how about you?”

“Me? I always go here. I love it here! It feels like I’m safe and I’m at the place where I belong”

“Good to hear!” Aiden said as he leans on at the tree

Sooyoung then looked at his clothes, “You’re dancing?”

“Oh!” He said realizing his clothes, “Ne! Hip-hop!”

“Really? I want to see!” Sooyoung said excitedly

He started to dance to which Sooyoung can’t help but be amazed. He dances so great and she loves it. Sooyoung wasn’t that into dancing but when she saw him dance, it made her feel that she wants to dance too. He then stopped and received a clapped from Sooyoung.

“You’re…Incredible!” Sooyoung said stunned, “You dance so great. It was amazing!”

“You like it?” He chuckled, “Thank you! I’m really happy you like it.”

“So what do you do? You dance at streets?”

“No! I’m a trainee!”

“Really?”

“Yeah! Have you ever heard of SM entertainment?”

“You’re trainee there? No way! So you really got a thing! That’s really amazing!” Sooyoung was happy, “I also have a friend who was a trainee there. I used to think it but after some thought, I think it’s exceptionally good!”

“How about you?”

“Me?” Sooyoung asked back

Aiden nods, “yeah! You. I’m asking you. What do you have with you?”

“What do you mean?” Sooyoung asked again clueless

“Well, I certainly hope that you, Summer, is not a type of girl who doesn’t have any attributes with regards to talent”

Sooyoung chuckled, “Well, I’ve been going to Karaoke’s if ever that was counted but I do play piano and sings”

“You do?” Aiden asked impatiently wanting to hear her voice.

He sat next to her as she sings a favorite song of hers. It was sweet with slow-tempo that matches the atmosphere at that precious moment. Sooyoung quickly hides her face as she ended the song.

“Magnificent” Aiden uttered unconsciously

KKRRIIIINNGGGG~ the school bell rang

They were walking together on their way home. Taeyeon was going to Yunho’s place tonight to attend the party.

“So what’s happening between you and that guy” Taeyeon suddenly asked

“I told you not to call him like that!” Sooyoung scolds her

“Fine! I won’t! So tell me!”

 “Well, we’re getting to know each other” Sooyoung said, “Like the first step”

“And everything was going like the way you planned?”

“Well, for most part, yes!” Sooyoung answered, “I was just shocked. Do you know that he dances so great? Actually, I wanted to do a background check on him”

“You mean-- stalk, right?”

“Whatever! But the point is I don’t think I’ll have to! It’s just very obvious. He’s very transparent!”

Finally, Sooyoung arrived at home. It was a bit peaceful as her mom and her sister went to Yunho’s party. As Sooyoung was doing her projects, suddenly she felt her phone vibrated. It was Taeyeon who called her. She answered but to her surprise, Taeyeon was screaming.

“YA? What happened? What’s wrong? Is there an accident?”

“Aniyo!” Taeyeon said, “Soo, guess what happened?”

Sooyoung breathes heavily, “God! I thought something happened! What’s that screech all about?”

“Yunho-Oppa introduced me to this guy! He is so handsome and he is y!” Taeyeon said happily “And you know what? You wouldn’t believe who I found here!”

“Who?” Sooyoung asked as she gets away from her desk and sat at her bed.

“Choi Siwon!” Taeyeon said clearly, “I didn’t know Yunho-Oppa is actually close to him. Well, I also met his buddies. Anyways, Got to go, bye!”

Taeyeon finally hangs up the phone. Suddenly, a guy approached her.

“Who are you talking to?” Eunhyuk, one of Yunho’s friends asked

“Ah! Sooyoungie! My bestfriend!” Taeyeon answered happily

“So, where is she?” Kyuhyun asked who was beside Eunhyuk

“Yeah! I haven’t seen Sooyoungie around. I saw her Mom and Soojin here” Yunho added          

“She’s at their house” Taeyeon answered, “Studying. It was her habit!”

“Studying? I didn’t know she’s after the valedictorian spot!” Siwon said as he makes way with Donghae

“It must be because she wanted to make it up for Aunty!” Yunho said, “I heard she entered SMe”

“That’s right!” Taeyeon confirmed, “She’s now official trainee there. She was expected to start her training by tomorrow”

“Really? Hae too-“Eunhyuk said but was hit by Donghae

“Why?” Taeyeon asked confused, “What’s wrong?”

“It’s nothing.” Kyuhyun assured, “It’s just Donghae is also trainee there. That’s why he moved here”

“Oh! Really?” Taeyeon asked

“Actually, all of us, entered too!” Siwon said, “And we can’t wait for you to be part too!”

After a week, it was again Saturday evening. Donghae was walking to catch fresh air. He stopped by at the Old Church when his phone suddenly rang.

“Yoboseyo? Ne, Songsaegnim!” Donghae answered his phone, “BWA? Arasso! I’ll be there”

He was about to leave when he got bump into someone. They both fell on their knees

“Omo! Mianhaeyo” Donghae said as he stood up quickly to help the person

“Aniyo! I’m sorry. I was in a rush. I wasn’t even looking in my way.” The person apologized, “I need to be somewhere.”

 “I’m really sorry.” Donghae apologized and look to the person, “Sooyoung?”

“Wait! YOU—you’re that guy!” Sooyoung said as she stood up, “And… you know my name?”

“AH” Donghae scratch the back of his head, “Well, you were pretty famous in your school. Anyway, I’m really really sorry! I didn’t mean to bump you back there at the school. It was pretty chaotic back then. I’m so sorry.”

“Hey! No need to apologize like that! Besides, you helped me with my Math problem but I ended up treating you badly” Sooyoung said a bit apologetic

“No it’s fine” Donghae said

“But I guess we’re destined to meet like this, which I hope not!”

“Anyway, I’m Donghae. Lee Donghae”

“Nice to meet you, Donghae!” Sooyoung said, “Anyways, why are you here?”

“OH! I was just walking to catch air” Donghae said, “When I happen to receive a call”

“Really?” Sooyoung said. Her phone vibrated, “OMO! I got to go. My parents are really waiting for me. It’s my unnie’s audition for a piano contest!”

“Keuraeyo? Good luck to your sister. Korom, annyeong!” Donghae said as he bid farewell

Sooyoung then left. When Donghae was about to leave, he saw a vintage notebook with a picture of a windmill at the hillside which tells him that it was owned by Sooyoung. He quickly took it up and noticed something in the page.

“What’s this?” Donghae asked. He then saw a picture inside the notebook. “It can’t be”

It’s been such a long time they all had known each other. They’ve been hanging out and created a lot of memories altogether. It was now their senior year and final year at High School.

As the time flew by, Sooyoung and Donghae grew closer. They were now High School sweethearts just like Taeyeon and Siwon.

"Aiden!" Sooyoung shouted happily, "Long time, no see"

"Yeah, i know and I'm sorry. I got lots to do, mainly school stuffs and running errands for my cousin. Anyway, why are you here? You should be at your room"

"Geez... Even you?!" Sooyoung pouted, "I was assigned to check around the campus"

"I doubt that. Your Math teacher must have asked you to run some errand for her. Am I right?"

"Wait!! How did you~ oh well. She really is into me these days, always asking me to do something for her."

"Well, i dont see you objecting to it so you must have liked it"

Sooyoung laughs, "Yeah! I got to skip her class. It gives me benefit"

Sooyoung then saw a familiar figure.

"Now, arent you going to--"  Aiden was interrupted

"Mianhae, Aiden but I got to go. bye!" Sooyoung immediately left

Aiden stayed for a while, still looking at her until he realized who she just saw.

"At least I know you were in good hands" Aiden uttered to himself and finally left.

Donghae just met with the CEO of SMe. He was about to go inside their school campus when he saw someone standing in front of him.

“Soo?” Donghae was a bit shocked seeing her

Sooyoung went nearer and looked at the leaving car, “That’s Lee Sooman-songsaegnim, the CEO of SM Entertainment, right? Why is he here?”

“It’s nothing!” Donghae said, “Anyway, what are you doing here?”

Sooyoung looked at him, “What do you mean what am I doing here?” She then went in to Donghae’s school and left him.

 “Aigoo! What do you think of our school? Your hiding place?” Donghae said, “Stop playing hide and seek with your teachers and go back to your school!”

“Ya! You claim this school as if it’s yours!” Sooyoung complained, “It’s our school too since our school’s are sister-schools!”

“Look at you! But whenever I claim your school to be also mine, you beat me to death!”

“SHUT UP!”

Donghae smiled and put his arms to her shoulders as they walk together.

“The one who last come in will treat lunch!” Sooyoung said as she winks and started to run.

They were all in the music room. It’s been their past-time/ hiding place. Eunhyuk is eating snacks, Kyuhyun is playing SF at his laptop while Siwon and Taeyeon were playing chess. All were busy doing their own thing.

 “Where are Hae and Soo anyway?” Eunhyuk suddenly asked noticing the absence of the two

“Let them be, Hyuk!” Kyuhyun said, “Let them spent time together!”

“Why? Is Hyuk finally getting jealous of Soo and Hae?” Taeyeon teased making her move

“Of course not! ~” Eunhyuk said, “I already have my girl.”

“Too bad she’s not here” Kyuhyun mocked, “Why don’t you ask Hyo to visit you?”

“As if Hyo would do that!” Siwon joined them, “He can’t even speak to her straight!”

Finally, Donghae and Sooyoung entered the room. They were very happy

“And finally the lovebirds are here” Kyuhyun announced as he approached the two, “Hyuk is jealous!”

“No, I’m not!” Eunhyuk immediately defended himself

Kyuhyun then saw something in Sooyoung and Donghae. “Look, Hyuk! Couple Necklace!”

Taeyeon immediately went to Sooyoung as she looks at the necklace. “OMG! So it’s official!”

“The necklaces were cute. I got to say!” Siwon said as they all tease Eunhyuk

“I’m not jealous, guys!” Eunhyuk defended

“You know it’s ok. It’s good that you admit you got jealous every once in a while” Sooyoung said as she sits in the couch opposite Eunhyuk’s.

Donghae laughs as he saw the look in Eunhyuk’s face, “Don’t worry, Hyuk. Kyu’s still here!”

Taeyeon then sat beside Sooyoung, “So, how did it happen?” Taeyeon asked excitedly

“What do you mean?” Sooyoung blushed a little

“Come on! Don’t be so selfish and tell it to us!” Taeyeon pleased

“We’re gonna break Hyuk’s heart!” Sooyoung said teasing Eunhyuk, “He’s gonna hate us forever!”

Kyu then went to him, “Come here, Babe! I’ll never leave you!” Kyuhyun said hugging Eunhyuk

“EEWW~” Eunhyuk said struggling, “Get off me!”

The boys were to make a visit at the Jungshin All-Girls School. They were celebrating the school festival. Eunhyuk, Donghae and Kyuhyun were about to perform in front of everyone.

“I can’t wait ‘till I see them perform!” Taeyeon said excitedly as they wait for them to perform

“Have you seen Hae-Oppa?” Sooyoung said worriedly, “I don’t see him anywhere else”

“He’s gotta be at the backstage!” Taeyeon replied, “Come on, Soo! He’s a big kid!”

“I want to see him~” Sooyoung said as she immediately run to the backstage leaving Taeyeon catching up to her. Meanwhile, before they perform…

“Hae, you’re not feeling good!” Siwon said. He was inside of the dressing room with Donghae

“I’m ok. I can still do this” Donghae insisted then coughs hardly

“Look! You can’t do this! You’re coughing very badly now. I’m going to fetch you to hospital”

“Don’t!” Donghae said making a tight grip of Siwon’s wrist, “Don’t you dare! I said I’m good!”

“Hae! How long are you going to keep up like this? You’ve been lying to everyone else especially to Soo!” Siwon exclaimed, “Hae! You’re very sick and you’ve gotten worse now!”

“DON’T…You dare say it!” Donghae said panting, “I’m not sick, ok?”

“Hae! Look at you! You’ve got to help yourself. Tell Soo about your condition before it’s too late!”

“She doesn’t need to know anything, Siwon! No, not now. I’m not ready!”

Someone then entered the room. It was the staff, “You’re on!”

Sooyoung was running on the hallway with Taeyeon. They were looking for Donghae. Suddenly, a girl was running to them making them stop.

 “Sooyoung!” The girl called out. As soon as she stopped at them she breathes very deep and put on a wide smile on her face. “Chukkahae! Jeongmal Chukkahaeyo!”

Sooyoung laughed a bit, “For what?”

“You’re the selected one to receive full scholarship!” The girl announced happily making Sooyoung shocked, “You’ll be studying at Japan!”

“But- I can’t! I can’t be!” Sooyoung said as if she doesn’t want to be

“Ya! What do you mean you can’t? You have to!” The girl said, “Ms. Ahn wanted to see you at the faculty!” The girl left.

“What are you going to do?” Taeyeon asked Sooyoung

 “I don’t know Yeonie!” Sooyoung said, “I don’t want to leave”

“Talk about it first with Hae.” Taeyeon said

“No.” Sooyoung was looking at the floor, “I don’t want to.”

The following days pass by like a storm for all of them. Sooyoung and Donghae both put an end to their relatipnship shocking almost everyone as it came unexpectedly. No one knew what really happened.

At the school's garden...

"Are you sure?" a bitter tone was heard

He nods. "I dont think I'm the perfect guy for you. I felt like I didnt even become a boyfriend to you. I have always ignore you and I dont want you getting hurt"

"I already know it" She could only respond

"I cant promise to stop caring for you because I still love you, I just want you to be happy"

"Then promise me one thing."

After a week, Sooyoung was walking around the boys’ campus when she happened to pass by at a room. The door was a bit opened and so the music coming from that room can be heard. She come closer only to found out that a guy was playing a piano who happen to be Donghae.

She comes on in without making a noise. She went at Donghae’s back to scare him. And as soon as Donghae stopped playing piano, she immediately back-hugged him, successfully doing her plan.

 “YA!” Donghae yelled as he got startled by Sooyoung

Sooyoung can’t help but laugh seeing how Donghae got startled, “Chincha! Jeongmal kyeopta!”

“Ya! Stop saying it! I’m not cute” Donghae protested

“Oh! Come on!” Sooyoung said sitting next to him. Finally, when she calmed herself down, “Ya! You’re skipping classes!”

“Wae? You’re also skipping classes right now!”

“I did not skip class. I excused myself.” Sooyoung said, “I told them I’m feeling sick”

“Aish! You lied to them!” Donghae said, “Excuse? That’s rubbish!”

“YA! But that was true! I was feeling sick earlier, they even had me taken 2 medicines which tastes like a trash!”

“Chincha? You should have stayed at the clinic then!” Donghae said worriedly, “But I can’t help wonder, Choi Sooyoung hating medicines?”

“What do you mean? I have always hated medicines!” Sooyoung said, “Anyways, what are you playing? Is that your new composition? May I see?”

Sooyoung immediately snatches it away, “Whoa!”

“YA! Give it back, Soo!” Donghae tries to get it from her

“Just a little bit, I’m going to return it anyways.” Sooyoung said, “Promise?”

Donghae finally had his hands on his composition and immediately put it in his bag. Sooyoung went to him.

“So that’s the title of your composition! May I hear it?” Sooyoung asked

“No! Because you steal it away!”

“Ya! I didn’t really steal it away! Besides I returned it to you” Sooyoung reasoned out, “Please, Oppa?? Huh? Play it for me?”

“You know what? I’m gonna call your teacher and tell her to pick you up here!” Donghae said starting to dial on his phone

“Ya! Andwaeyo!” Sooyoung said trying to steal his phone

Suddenly, Sooyoung’s phone rang. She immediately took it and saw it was Donghae

“Got ‘ya!” Donghae teased

“Aish! Chincha! YA!” Sooyoung exclaimed

“You know if I called your teacher we’ll be both doomed! She’ll found out that I’m skipping my classes too!” Donghae said sticking his tongue out. Both of them sat at the chair at the piano.

“Do you have something to tell me?” Sooyoung asked Donghae. The change of tone was noticed

“What could I possibly tell you?” Donghae asked smiling at her

“I don’t know. Like if you have by any chance something.” Sooyoung said looking at him, “Like a secret”

Donghae laughed, “A secret? Well, actually…” Donghae said thinking, “None. I don’t have any.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yeah! Why?” Donghae asked confused

Sooyoung smiled, “Nothing! I just don’t want us keeping secret from each other!”

The bell then rang

“Ah! Oppa! I need to go! Annyeong” Sooyoung said as she stands up

Suddenly, Donghae grab her by her wrist and pull her close to him. He hugged her tight as ever.

“Oppa!” Sooyoung said shocked for his sudden action

Donghae then released her and look at her in the eyes.

“I’m going to miss you!” Donghae said and kiss her in her forehead.

“I love you~” Sooyoung said as if she knew what was going to happen

And that was the last time Sooyoung had seen Donghae.

At the same night, Donghae was at his Aunt’s house. He was lying at his bed in his room. His room was a bit messy. There were lots of big boxes. His cousin suddenly went in.

“So, you are really going? Is this final?”

Donghae nods

“You know, Hae, what you told me earlier, I can’t do it”

‘What do you mean you cant?”

“I don’t want to do it. I don’t want to take your place in SMe and I don’t want to protect Soo. That’s your role to do. I don’t want to do it”

“But we both know that it’s no longer my role. I can’t be trainee there anymore and most importantly I won’t be able to protect Soo anymore. I’m leaving it all behind to you”

“BUT-“

“I know! I know you wanted to be a dancer ever since. And… I also know that you like Sooyoung”

“HUH?”

“I know that you are Aiden!”

“What are you saying?”

“You’re not just Lee Donghae but you’re Aiden!” Donghae said, “We may have the same name, but you are Aiden. Didn’t you always like to be called Aiden, even before you met her?”

“How did you-“

“Up until now, Sooyoung still doesn’t know anything that the Aiden she knew and me, Lee Donghae are cousins. I have always kept it to her so when I leave, I knew someone can replace me”

“How can you say-??”

“Although we are two different people, we are alike in many things. We share a lot in common and we almost look the same. However, I’m the weak one and you’re the strong one”

“YA! Don’t talk like that! Don’t say it like you’ll never come back again!”

“I’m not a fool! I’m aware of everything! If the operation succeeds, I may be alive but I’m going to forget everything but if the operation doesn’t, I may die, both of it leads me to never coming back!”

“But even so, I don’t want to do it. I’ll never do it. You already said it, we are alike but we are two different people, we don’t have the same DNA. We are DIFFERENT!”

“You’ll do it! I know you do!” Donghae said. He was already crying, “I have to sleep. My flight will be early tomorrow. I can’t miss it”

Aiden leave the room.

On the next day, everyone was in the school. The first class was just about to start when the door went wide opened shocking everyone.

“Ai-Aiden?” Sooyoung was shocked

“Come with me, Soo! FASTER!!!” Aiden shouted making Sooyoung anxious

Sooyoung immediately followed him with Taeyeon. They went to the field meeting Siwon, Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk.

“What’s going on? And where’s Hae?” Sooyoung asked

“Donghae is at the airport. He’s leaving the country!” Aiden said

“Huh? Why? And wait- you knew Donghae?”

“He’s my cousin” Aiden said

“WHAT???” Sooyoung was shocked

“Soo! Hae is sick and he’s leaving the country to get treated at Europe.” Siwon said

“This might be the last chance you’ll ever see him again.” Aiden said, “Come on! We don’t have time!”

Sooyoung and Aiden rode together at the car. Aiden was the one driving.

“So all this time, you knew each other?” Sooyoung was still taken aback

“I’m sorry for not telling you. It was all me. I decided not to tell you. Donghae doesn’t know that you knew me”

“But he never told me anything about his cousin named Aiden”

“My real name is… Lee Donghae. We have the same name” Aiden said, “But everyone called me Aiden.”

“But why is he going to Europe? How come he was sick?”

“Donghae had always been sick” Aiden said still driving very fast, “He’s sick ever since. And now, his doctor found a way to cure his sickness but it’ll have to be at Europe. You need to see him before he departs. We don’t know what might happen in his operation”

Sooyoung was crying, “Please faster, make it faster”

Suddenly, a truck carrying lots of big trunk of trees passed by in front of them. Aiden tried to avoid it but the car got out of control making the car they rode hit directly at the truck. The impact was so strong that Aiden’s seatbelt got torn out and he went out of the car’s window shield. At the same time, a taxi cab that was coming along their way was hit by the end of the truck and so the cab was hit so badly.

“Soo~” Aiden saw Sooyoung still inside of the car, covered with lots of blood.

Aiden died while Sooyoung was in critical state. Her family decided to bring her to Japan. She was in coma for about 6 months and stayed in hospital for about a year. Because of the accident, Sooyoung had forgotten everything about Donghae and Aiden.

After several years, Sooyoung went back to South Korea for the first time since the accident. She could still remember other people from their neighborhood and her friends, classmates, schoolmates and labelmates. She also went back to SMe for the first time again as she was informed to be a trainee there though she was able to complete her training at Japan.

As she went in, she easily recognizes Yunho, Siwon, BoA  CSJH the grace, TVXQ, Shinhwa and also Taeyeon. and for the first time, she was introduced to Super Junior and Girls' Generation. She was quite starstrucked as she was received heart warmingly. She was introduced to everyone and also to the whole building.

Feeling tired, she went to the rooftop to catch a fresh air. Unexpectedly, she met someone.

"I'm sorry. I didnt know someone is here. If you want I'll just leave-"

"No! Pls, stay. I'd like some company besides Its my pleasure to have you here"

"Thank you" She said sitting at the bench

"By the way, I am Choi Sooyoung, just call me Soo"

"I'm Donghae, Lee Donghae. Please, I prefer you to call me Hae"

and they both shake hands, smiling at each other.
