I kept running. I kept running even the street was slippery like moss. The heavy rain was weighing down on my hazel brown hair and clothes. I tried to rub out my eyes from the tears and raindrops as I stifled sobs. Unfortunately, a new batch of tears came to say hello. I stopped running, not knowing where I was. I didn't know how far I ran, and I didn't care.

I tried to remember what I saw earlier. Him standing there with his sunglasses on. That would've kept me gaping at him if there wasn't a lip-glossed mouth plastered to his face. Maybe he saw me. Maybe my eyes are just playing tricks on me. Maybe.. BEEP! I squinted my eyes together. There were two bright lights, an annoying honking of a car, a sudden splash of water. Then, there was nothing.
