Everything going so well for Kwon family, Yuri is secretly doing business and because of her hard work, the business becomes so big. She gives the business to Jessica as presents, J-Won actually JJ (Jessica Jung) but Jessica stubbornly use J-Won. Yuri even makes Jessica become CEO which Jessica refuse it and make Yuri as CEO.

The couple almost fight, no actually it Jessica who almost explode because Yuri refuse to be CEO and keep insisting Jessica to be the one also Yuri want to take care of home more than office. In the end Jessica manage to persuade Yuri become CEO and Jessica will be the vice. Though Yuri only work when the kids already old enough to take care of themselves.

The business itself gets so big and become so global now, become elite Chaebol and even more than cheabol itself but they’re not world scale conglomerate yet. They still keep it low for now, they don’t want their chaebol status give them big head or anything.

They got two kids now, Yoona and Krystal. The ever so perfect and well-mannered daughters, but they’re also the troublemaker, which is more to Jessica troublemaker rather than Yuri troublemaker. Since they’re always give Jessica headache.  

“Oh, you got par-eents invitati-oons to your school? Why yo-uu didn’t tell appa Yoong?” Yuri said to her 13 years old daughter Yoona who seem hiding parent’s invitation from Yuri.

Harshly Yoona yanks the invitation from Yuri hands, “Because I don’t want appa to come! Appa couldn’t even talk properly and couldn’t even walk like normal without limping around, I don’t want appa to come! I want umma to come because appa will embarrass me!!!”

Yuri just gives sad smiles to Yoona but she nods her head in understanding, “Appa understand…appa will te-ell umma…”

But Jessica clearly hears everything and marching toward Yoona, slapping Yoona cheek. Yoona cheek become so red, while Jessica really fuming more than anything. She just went home and hears all this horrible things about her seobang, she will never tolerate this not even if that’s her own daughter. 

“Sica? Don't...”

“Apologize to appa now!!” but Yoona run to her room and lock the door, ignoring Jessica. Jessica just sighed, “I will shower first seobang, I need to cool my heart down…but I’m not going to apologize to Yoona for slapping her!”

Yuri knocking Yoona door but Yoona doesn’t even budge to answer Yuri. She worried that Jessica slaps hurt Yoona face or anything. So Yuri just sits on living room, till Krystal kneeling in front of Yuri. Looking at her appa with her sharp eyes that is just like Jessica.

“Appa, you could come to my class then! Even if don’t have that parents meeting or what but appa can watch me then! I will answer all teacher questions and I promise that I won’t fall asleep at literature class! I also will ‘pause’ my pranks at that day, so appa won’t get any trouble with Narsha-songsaenim!”

Yuri just laughing at Krystal attempts to make her smiles, she then kiss Krystal forehead which Krystal gladly kiss Yuri cheek. “Want to help appa making dinner?”

“No, don’t call her for dinner! She’s don’t need dinner if she still be stubborn and refuse to apologize to you!” Jessica said while enjoying her dinner while Yuri really worried because Yoona didn’t even have her dinner and might become sick.

But Yuri texting Yoona, she’s already save some sandwich for Yoona and Yoona could eat it when she’s hungry. She knows Yoona have very huge appetite, so she make very big portion sandwich for Yoona and also warm milk.

She know when her baby angry, like right now, Jessica sleeping and facing the wall, it sign that Jessica angry or beyond furious. The last time Jessica being like this because Krystal decide to eat her lunch that made by Yuri.

Yuri slowly hug Jessica from behind, “Now I know what umma mean with I hope you will get daughter like yourself Jessica, so you know how it feels like…everything that Yoona said keep remind me with how I treat you in past and it hurt…”

“Sica, you ne-ever hurt me and Yoona just…”

Jessica turn around and hug Yuri, “Why Yoona who got your face but got my personality?! Someone that’s so spoiled and a brat too that knows nothing but to hurt people? Stubborn troublemaker that hurt her appa like how I use to treat you below than animal itself…”

Yuri kiss Jessica lips, “You never do b-aad things to me, baby! Nn-never! It good things she got her umma personality! Yoona beco-mme someone who isn’t afraid to stand for something that she believes it right and also she’s kind girl who have very war-rmm and big heart that make her become so precious for everyone! Just like you!”

Jessica didn’t even bother to come at Yoona parents meeting day, she will never comes if Yoona still haven’t apologize to Yuri. She don’t even kiss Yoona forehead when she’s out to her office like usual, Yuri trying to ease the tension but these two far too stubborn.

Yoona sit on school park bench alone and she know her umma will never come to parents meeting day. She just sits there and looking at her lunch box, it’s her appa made it for her secretly because if Jessica knows…

Suddenly someone slap Yoona lunchbox and made it fall to the ground, they even kick it. The lunchbox is warps nicely in cloth, so the food not spills over. They want to stomp it but Yoona already shove one of them away.

Yoona quickly grab her lunchbox and hold it tight to her body, protect it from them. “Where’s your limping appa? She’s too scares to come here? Because I want to see her limping her way! She should come so we could call her with limping duck! Blind and couldn’t even talk properly! We could make fun of her! We could call her with…”

One of them trying to yank Yoona knitted scarf, that made by Yuri. “This ugly scarf!! Must be your appa that m—!!!”

Hard punch landed on the bully’s face, Yoona stood in front of them and her eye really red. Her fist is trembling with rage. “Stop making fun of my appa!! Stop saying bad things about my appa!! I won’t forgive you!!”

At the end of the day, the cold war between Jessica and Yoona got another extra with Jessica called to school again, extra headache for Jessica of course. Jessica arrives at school with her cold face that indicated she’s already at beyond furious level. She found Yoona sit with bruise all over her body but still hugging her lunchbox and with her scarf.

Because Jessica conglomerates status, no one dare to mess with her and they even apologize at her also Yoona. Of course Jessica still angry, but she’s not the type that will shout at her kids.

“Why?”

Yoona couldn’t even look up to see her umma furious face and she knows her umma far more than furious now. Jessica driving Yoona to her office, she couldn’t bring Yoona home now because Yuri will freak out. Lucky for Jessica, Yuri is in the middle of meeting for their new project.

“They will say all those bad things about appa if appa come and I don’t want appa to hear that! I don’t want appa get hurt by them…I just want to protect appa from their harsh words…”

Now Jessica sure Yoona got her personality for sure, she couldn’t even protect someone she loves without hurting them in process. She really looks at her inside Yoona, her stubbornness and her haughty personality too. Jessica kiss Yoona forehead, carefully avoiding Yoona bruise.

“When we’re home, you will apologize to appa because yesterday! If you do that, umma will forgive you too!”

Yoona just nods her head, Jessica softly held Yoona hands. “Next time, Yoona…you should just tell the truth because if you try to cover it with your pride or being embarrassed about that…you only hurt person that you loves likes how everyone trying to hurt them! You not protecting appa yesterday but hurt appa more than that, appa is strong but when her own daughter said that to her…imagine how hurt she feels right now?”

“I never want to hurt appa, I love appa so much…”

Jessica arrives at her office, Sunny always welcoming her and she’s know Jessica problem with Yoona just offer Jessica sympathy smiles. Since if Jessica already said something, she will never take her words back no matter what happen. Like how Jessica refuse to give Yoona and Krystal their allowance for more than one month because chaos at school cafeteria by their kids.

Sunny went to Jessica table to put down the proposal, lot of them. “Good morning Jessie! I need you to see this proposal first before you sign it!”

Jessica just smiles, “Sorry, Sunny-ah! But I need some moment alone with my seobang first…do you mind?”

Sunny just laughing, she give Jessica her hug and sisterly pats on her back. “Of course I won’t! Of course I won’t!! I’ll be waiting at your room then! Need something to grab after that?”

Nicole comes with her stack of document for Jessica, “Sica-unnie, here your morning coffee! Oh, you need your time with Yuri-unnie?” Jessica nods her head, Nicole just laughing in understanding manners, “Okay! I’ll be waiting for you with Sunny-unnie then! Take the coffee with you because it's almost autumn!” 

Jessica just smiles and went to her VIP parking area, she want to meet her seobang and she want to apologize because this Yoona problem. She knows her seobang wouldn’t like it but she will never like it if she could do nothing to take revenge for her seobang.

It’s been more than a week since Yoona run away from home or kicked out from home. It’s lucky for her that her school right now on holiday. Jessica didn’t even care much about Yoona whereabouts, though Jessica already know where Yoona stay right now which is Taeyeon house, Hara and Hyuna tell their mom about this anyway.

She even know that Yoona working as pizza delivery, stubborn her not wanting to eating for free from Taeyeon plate. Trait of Jessica, she will never completely goes down on her knee and she still have her pride even when she have to kneeling and she will only kneel with one of her leg not two.

She still believes that someday Yoona will return on her own, when Yoona couldn’t bear it again then. So she’s just waiting for that moment then after all she knows Yoona far too well for that. Jessica just enjoying her time guessing when Yoona will give up and return home anyway. She’s not Yuri who will fuss over this.

“Jessica, are you busy? She want meet you, should I let her in? It does seem so urgent and you know about what!”

“Who want to meet me?”

There’s pause before Sunny sigh, “Kim Seohyun want to meet you!”

Now there’s pause from Jessica, bit longer than Sunny pause. “Send her away, I don’t want to see her face or be near her!”

Before Sunny could close the phone, there’s ruckus voice and Sunny voice about hand off her phone and chaos about Sunny said put the phone down. This make Jessica frown and keep her phone on, “Mrs. Kwon!!! Yoona!!! Yoona, she’s in hospital now!! She got into accident!!! Please come to see her!!!” Seohyun is shouting through the phone.

There’s whole minute of silence, “Sunny please her outside, I need to attend meeting now!” then Jessica close the call and completely ignoring Seohyun plea.

Jessica sits on her office for couple of minute, just to make sure that Seohyun already gone from her office before went outside and going to meeting room. At elevator she look at Seohyun who being dragged by security. It’s not really meeting since it’s Sooyoung who ask them for meeting, about to create factory for diary food.

When Jessica about to enter her car, “Mrs. Kwon why don’t you go and see Yoona? She’s your daughter and she’s got accident! Please, she really needs you!” Seohyun standing behind Jessica, it seems she’s waiting for Jessica.

Jessica didn’t even turn around to see Seohyun, but before she enters her car she said this to Seohyun, “She’s choosing to be with you and that’s why she’s not mine anymore! Go away from here or I’ll call security!”

“But Mrs. Kwon!! Yoona!”

Jessica don’t even care what Seohyun want to say and she’s speeding from that parking area, leaving Seohyun behind unable to finish her plea. Sunny and Nicole who watch the whole scene just sigh, because they know why.

In that expensive restaurant, Jessica is enjoying her dinner with Krystal as usual. Since there’s no way Jessica will cook and Krystal not really fond of Jessica home cooking that require Jessica doing some sort of experiment in the kitchen, that might end up killing both of them…they just enjoy dine out and that’s for best reasons.

Victim record, Sooyoung enter hospital because too spicy that she describe that she just eat whole plane of ghost pepper with mix of TNT, another victim Hyoyeon! The most honored victim, she enter hospital but her room not in usual room…but the toilet. Figure it by yourself why.

Krystal as usual blabbering about there’s party that she don’t want to go because too boring, about she miss appa food and almost got diarrhea because Jessica food, about she didn’t understand why Naeun still awkward around her.

All conversations filled with laughter and also scold from Jessica to Krystal because her cooking topic. “Yah! Umma cooking not that bad, even appa loves it! She said my cooking is the best and she really enjoy eat it!”

Krystal is just pouting, she remember that last time she ask her umma to cooking because both of them sick of restaurant food…the result not really good. They almost get diarrhea or food poisoning. “Nope! Appa cooking is the best!!!”

Jessica just nods her head in approval, “Yes, I do admits your appa cooking is the greatest of all! Let’s talk about anything else besides her cooking or we won’t enjoy our dinner! Let’s talk about your school trip, why don’t you tell umma about that now?”

Krystal groans, “I just hoping I could skip it umma! Please let me skip that trips umma! Soojung promise will stay at home or maybe your office! I won’t shopping or anything! Just call the school and telling them I’m sick!”

Jessica look at Krystal, “Well, you couldn’t! I already give them large sums of donation for your field trip at that parents meeting! It won’t be that bad, you guys will play paintball and one day camping after that you will stay at good hotel! You love camping, right?”

“Yeah, if I’m with appa then I love it! If I’m not with her then forget it!!”

Jessica just chuckle, “Then, try to enjoy it with your friends! Maybe you can tell stories to appa when she’s home after business trips?”

“Yes, I can tell whole story about my perfectness to appa but…playing paintball? Aish, I don’t want that! What if they accidently shoot my hair or maybe shot my pretty face? Leave aside the problem that we must cook our own dinner!”

Jessica just laughing, “Naeun will join too, right? Be sure to protect Naeun at that trips, understand? She’s like doll and so fragile so you must take care of her, like how appa take care of me! She’s just shy around you, she’s not hate you Soojung!”

The goddess of fortune still on Krystal side, she’s lucky enough got into different tent with Naeun but still in same team for paintball game. Knowing Naeun, she will following Krystal at that game and that what Krystal annoyed with. 

Jessica smiles immediately fading when she see the couple that walking to her table, Taeyeon and Tiffany walking toward her. Krystal notices her umma cold expression and went to look out for the source.

“Ah, they’re Seohyun-sunbae parents! What are they doing here? Leave that aside, I didn’t know that Seohyun-sunbae also chaebol! So the rumor about her family own big hospital actually true! Wow, Hara-unnie gossip really good!”

They’re standing beside Jessica table, “Jessica…we need to talk about Yoona!” Taeyeon know that Jessica not fond of slow talks, so they head to the points. “It’s been a week Jessica, but you didn’t even visit her or even asking about her! Her leg fractured because fall from her bike! But even though she’s just fractured her leg…but you…”

“I already make my point clear about her, she’s not my daughter anymore!” Jessica turn to Krystal and give Krystal a motherly smiles, “Soojung-ah, wait for umma at our car! If you still hungry, we can eat at other restaurants!”

Krystal obediently nods her head and walking to their car that park at VIP place after kiss her umma cheek. When Krystal already outside, Taeyeon decide to apologize for her mistake. “Jessica, I know that you hate me for leaving you on…”

Jessica cuts her speech, “I think you got it wrong, leaving me on the altar is fine and I can put it on the past since you give me someone that lot of better than you could ever be! But what you did to my seobang is clearly unforgiveable! No matter how many times you ask for my forgiveness, I will never give any of it to you! I can easily make you enter the prisons, but I respect Yuri decisions and let you go just like that! So, stop bothering my family!”

Jessica wants to get away from Taeyeon and Tiffany but Tiffany held her shoulder, “Wait! I know that we are very wrong but think about Yoona, don’t you know how sad for her to know that her mother don’t even care about her?!”

“She is not my daughter anymore!” Jessica shoves Tiffany hands away from her shoulder. But Tiffany keeps her hold on Jessica and forcing her to turn around.

“You can’t cut the bond between mother and daughter just like that! We know that you hate to see Yoona dating our Seohyun, but to cut the mother daughter bond because of this?! You went too far Jessica!!”

Jessica harshly shoves Tiffany away, lucky for her Taeyeon behind her to catch Tiffany before she could fall. “Don’t ever touch me! I already said it once, never challenging me and yet she’s keep being stubborn! She got what she’s deserve!”

Taeyeon couldn’t bear to see Jessica harsh treatment for Yoona, she knows firsthand the feeling when her parents disown her and make her all alone. Her parents disown her when she elope with Tiffany, that’s why when Tiffany need money for surgery…she doing that horrible things to Yuri. She knows that she’s make great mistake…because she sold someone that believe in her just like that, just because her desperate situation.   

“Jessica! You are too cruel! Think of Yuri! What will happen if she knows about this?! How could you disown Yoona just like throwing dirty rag?! Don’t you know how broken Yoona when Seohyun found her sit in front of our house in the middle of raining?! Don’t you know how much she’s crying when she remember her umma just disown her without any second thought?!”

Taeyeon took step forward to Jessica who didn’t even flinch or blink her eyes. “No matter mistake that Yoona did or choice that Yoona took, this is not the way you done it! This is wrong Jessica!! What will Yuri say about this?!!”

This make Jessica cold face change the most, “You! Don’t have any right to call Yuri name! Don’t even dare to think Yuri with your brain!! You will disgrace Yuri name and trust because yours past mistake! Don’t ever call Yuri name from your dirty tongue!”

The usual monotone tone that she always use is disappears and replace with tone that filled with venom dripping all over the statement, the venom that can dissolves anything that come into the sight of the great Jessica Jung.

“What I must do for you to forgive us…if not forgive Yoona? What should I do to you and Yuri?!! Tell me! Just don’t do this to Yoona! Just tell me what should I do to Yuri so she could forgive me?! Must I knell for everyone could see?!”

Jessica dry sinister laugh, “Kneel so everyone could see? That’s too soft, don’t you think? My cousins enter prisons for more than 60 years of punishment, they use all their money to lessen the punishment and it make them go bankrupt now! You? Kneeling? It’s not that simple thing Taeyeon! Because of you, things become more complicated! You hurt my Yuri more than what you intended too! You hurt her and yet you did it with knowledge about that!”

“But Yoona! What about Yoona and Seohyun? She didn’t know anything and they didn’t know anything about this Jessica! She is still your daughter no matter how much you deny it!! At least give them some heart and…”

Jessica just scoffed, “I already told you, right? I will never change my words about her!”

Sunny and Nicole are walking to parking area, toward Sunny car. Jessica not at office right now, she’s spending time with Yuri as usual.

Every morning, when Jessica arrives at office she will spend her time with her seobang before return to her office. Lunch, she will call her seobang and talk to her. Night, she will meet her seobang too before went home.

Sunny and Nicole never want to disturb Jessica moment with her seobang, but this is very important. Yuri design of hotel become hits and it’s awarded for the most beautiful hotel in the world. Also become pride of South Korea. They need to tell Jessica now because Jessica must goes to US for that award also urgent meeting for that hotel.

They arrive at one big hotel, at VIP suite that of course own by Jessica and Yuri. Knock the door and Jessica nanny greet them.

“We want to meet Jessica, did she busy?”

The nanny just smiles and let them in. “She’s not that busy, she’s in the middle of complaining about she miss Yuri cooking and about Krystal said her cooking is bad! Overall, she’s free! Come in! I’ll prepare tea for you two!”

“Hello Yuri and Jessica! Nice day isn’t it today?” Sunny is waving her hand to Yuri, Jessica just smiles to Sunny and Nicole while Yuri just looking at them. “Jessie, we’re very sorry to bothering you! We need to go through our schedule again! I hope Yuri won’t mind this?”

Nicole claps like a seal, this is her signature claps that very useful to punish Hyuna by slapping Hyuna head using this method. “Yes, Yuri-unnie doesn’t need to worry! We won’t steal your wife, because we don’t want your scary and grumpy wife!”

Jessica is throwing her slipper to Sunny and Nicole, effectively making them quiet because it hits their faces. “Okay! Enough bad talking me! What schedule?! Tell me quickly, so I can spend more time with my seobang here!”
