The next morning at Beast's dorm...

Hyunseung's POV

I was sitting on the sofa when Junhyung came and asked "So, where did you go last night? *gasp* Maybe... you went to 2NE1's  dorm and confessed to Dara-ssi personally?!"

"Aniyo! It's not like that. Actually, I- I'm giving up." 

Just accept it Hyunseung, you can't be with her

"Jinjja?! What the hell is wrong with you? You got a legit chance, dude." Junhyung said seriously

"Well, it's because last night..."

Flashback

"So, what about Dara noona?" I asked Jiyong hyung

"I watched you admit that you like her. And... and I just wanted to say, may the best man win." Jiyong replied

"Hyung, does that mean..."

"Yeah, I've liked her for a while now" 

There was an awkward silence for the next few seconds. Both of us trying to find the correct words to say. Clearly, we were talking about something which is uncomfortable for both of us

"Ah... S-so that's how it is, h-haha." I tried to laugh to ease up the awkwardness, but I couldn't hide that I was feeling nervous. It's just that I couldn't digest what Jiyong hyung said. It took me by surprise

"S-so yeah, um, that's what... um yeah, that's all I have to say. See you around, I guess?" Jiyong hyung tapped my shoulder before leaving

I just stood there feeling numb after hyung left. There's just too much going on right now and I can't think clearly. I like Dara noona, and Jiyong hyung is like my family already. He was there for me when I didn't make it into Big Bang. It's hard to think that I'll compete with him. 

"Should I just... back off? Aish, this is so hard!"

I thought to myself that things have gotten much much much more complicated. What else can go wrong?

End of flashback

"You're giving up because of that? That's so low dude. I mean, he said "may the best man win" right? He didn't say back off or something like that. You should man up and accept his challenge." Junhyung said

"Do you realize how close they are?"

Immediately after I spoke, Junhyung replied "And you're close with me. I can give you some advice you know?"

"Says the guy whose relationship just ended..." I muttered under my breath

"Fine, be that way. DaraGon all the way then. I'm gonna cheer on Jiyong-ssi instead."

"What is DaraGon?"

"That's what their otp is called okay?"

"Oh you mean like JunHara?"

"Yah! I was going to help you but it seems like you don't want it. Later dude."

"Eyyy, you know I'm kidding right? Please help meee." 

"Nah, you don't want my help right?" Junhyung said as he opened the door

"Come on Junhyung-ah, please help me. Jebaaaal!" I pleaded

"Okaaay, I'll help you. I can't resist your pleading 'coz I'm a good person." 

"Conceited." I whispered

"What did you say?" Junhyung said

"Nothing, nothing. I said you are the best. Yong Junhyunng jjang!" I said with two thumbs up and with a very big smile

"Tsch, whatever. So here's what you're going to do..."
