PROLOGUE

It was the worst day ever.

Because that day, it was pouring rain, like God was taking a one-in-a-million year shower. It had been raining ever since last night, into this morning, and was expected to stay until midnight. How wonderful.

It was also because there were finals today, in every single class in the whole in' building.

And not to mention, Jonghyun didn't study at all.

And to make things worst, he hadn't slept all night because he stayed up on his computer playing stupid games (that was mainly his fault.) So now, he had the biggest and darkest bags under what he calls his "gorgeous" puppy eyes.

Just wonderful. 

"WOAH. Hyung, what's up with those garbage bags under your eyes? I could fit in a whole week of garbage in them," Minho chortled, and proceeded to poke Jonghyun's eyes. Jonghyun swatted his hand away.

"Thank you, Ho," Jonghyun said in a sweet sarcastic tone, his english as broken as the distorted toy he had in his house since he was two.

"I wonder if you even know what that means." Minho countered.

"Do too."

"Well, what does it mean?"

"It means, thank you....uh..." Jonghyun thought as hard as he could. He couldn't recall it.

"Aha. I thought so, hyung. You're as bad in english as you are in history~"

" you. The bell's gonna ring, so you should get your back to class and take your stinking exams." Jonghyun rolled his eyes.

"You should too, hyung," Minho said in a sing-song voice as he walked away, his hand waving with his back to Jonghyun.

Jonghyun rolled his eyes again, sighed, and prepared himself for Mission Impossible Exam One.

He knew he failed. He wasn't able to answer at least 3/4 of all the questions on all of his exams.

AND, he forgot his umbrella in school because he was so annoyed the whole day. The stupid fat security guard wouldn't let him back it. The stupid piece of fatness. Jonghyun thought angrily.

So he ran in the pouring rain, to the nearest bus stop, and stood under the awning of the store behind it. He looked around in the rainstorm, and something particular caught his eye.

It was some red and black thing, and it didn't look like paper or one of those red plastic bags from local grocery stores.

Jonghyun squinted a bit and noticed it move. It moved?

He crept closer to it out in the rain, since he was already soaking wet anyway. He peered at it through the rain.

It was a red bird. Jonghyun didn't think they had these kind of birds in his neighborhood. He only saw pigeons before.

And Jonghyun, didn't know why, but he scooped up the shivering birdie, and ran his way home. Forget about the bus.
