Charlotte's POV

Waking up I found myself in an attic lying on a blood red sofa. I was wearing a black cocktail dress and everything seemed fuzzy. I touched the back of my head to find that it was done up in an elegant bun,a few strands falling out of place.

"You like your new look?" A soft warm voice asked. I squinted into the dark to see a guy sitting on an arm chair. He was wearing a tuxedo and his face was in the shadows. 

"Wh...who are you?" I managed to say as my vision blurred slightly. 

"Don't worry, your vision will return to normal soon enough." The stranger said and stood up. The first thing I noticed were his eyes. They weren't normal... They seemed to flash different shades of red, brown and grey as he surveyed me. I gulped nervously as he came closer. He was extremely handsome and he smiled proudly. 

"Don't you like my work?" He asked lifting my arms and caressing them. I stared at them in shock to see blue butterflies and red roses printed on them. They weren't like tatoos.... they seemed to be part of my skin. Pulling me into the dark I discovered to my horror that they glowed. 

"What have you done?!" I shrieked as I wrenched my arms away from him and stared at him in shock. He simply smirked and stepped away from me.

"I made improvements. You should be happy." He said and chuckled.
