Going through a harsh accident that caused losing both parents, Kim Melissa had banished her ability to talk ever since then. Growing up as an orphan and being mute had made her the target of mean bullies. It wasn’t such a drastic change that happened to her as she had been treated that way since she is small. But things get worse when her only friend moved to the big city with her adopted family leaving Melissa alone to fend for herself. So when she reached the mature age of 17, she decides to move from her hometown to Seoul for a better life. Also, with the intention of meeting her long lost friend which stayed in metropolitan city. When she enrols in a new school, everything starts to change and she meets many people that will help her leads a life she never have before.
