When Choi Suzy was little, she dreamed of having a blissful future. She wasn't hoping for something grand or epic storyline, but she wished for it to be at least happy. Once upon a time, she had that; until that tragic day where fate decides to take everything away from her.
Now, ten years later, she finds herself staring into a place she came to know as it was where she ended up growing, with nothing about her past. Nothing except her name. It was a miracle, really, being able to get out of the car crash alive, but Suzy thinks if she had already died that same moment when her past was taken away from her.
If there is one thing that keeps her going, it's the hope that somewhere out there, someone is also trying so hard to look for her. That somewhere in the place she does not know, a soul is also wishing for her to come back. It's enough for her, it's enough knowing that someone would be there to welcome her when she comes back.
But does finding her lost family really means getting them back? Suzy starts to wonder because sometimes, broken hopes are more painful than solitude. But Suzy finds herself hoping nonetheless

Krystal spent her entire life blaming herself for the destruction of her family. Suzy lived her life yearning for one. While Suzy opened her eyes every morning not knowing where she should be, Krystal spent her days knowing exactly how she should live her life. They were once a family, until fate decided to be cruel and kept them apart. Now that they are finally together, can their bond stay strong though much time had passed? Would their fate be still the same even though the wounds are yet to be healed?

Author's Notes:
This story is inspired by the movie Way Back Home, which is a story of two sisters separated by destiny and was pulled back together by fate. I just really loved the movie and cried buckets of tears while watching it. And so, I wanted to write something in this story line but then everything just blew out of hand and flew out of context and so here we are! But still, I see myself loving this story because it doesn't just speak of petty love and simple relationships. It speaks of family, of bonds, and of how one mistake can lead to something out of hand.
While writing this, I found myself in need to defend each and every character. Everyone has a story of their own. But then that would do no justice to my original intention of relaying each of their stories through each chapter. For those who stood by me through every indefinite hiatus and a bunch of writer's block, thank you. And for K who held my hand through my very first major trial in life, thank you. Words cannot express how much I love you, so I'll just treat you to luch tomorrow /hahaha/.
Anyways, this story is far yet from done and a lot of glitches may come our way, but if you choose to stay with me and get through this one hell of a ride together, then thank you. I would spend all my nights thanking you and wishing you the best in life. You are all so wonderful.
