When I got home I kept calling Krystal, but she wouldn’t pick up, I tried texting her but she won’t reply. I got really annoyed so I threw my phone on the bed then tried to calm myself

“What did I have to do that!”

I hit my head cause of my stupidity

“I could’ve just lied to her, right? But that would make it even more complicated as it is!”

I lie down at my bed and stare at the ceiling, I closed my eyes and tried to relax when my phone rang, I quickly answered it

“Hello?”

“Am?”

I looked at the caller and saw Yoona’s name, I felt kinda disappointed and put it back on my ear

“Yeah? Need something Yoona”

“Nothing much, can’t I call my childhood friend?”

“No, I didn’t mean that, I just thought you need something”

“there is something I want to ask”

“Yeah? What is it?”

“Are you dating the Little Ice Princess Krystal?”

Her sentence made me froze, I couldn’t deny that I didn’t date her when I did, and I can’t tell her yes since my confession was for her

“Am? You there Amber?”

Her voice snaps me back to reality

“well if you don’t want to tell me, its fine”

“Sorry Yoon, I’ll talk to you later”

We then hang up and tried to get some rest

 

The next day I went to school early to talk to Krystal, I stood there in front of the gate

After a while I saw her, looking down as usual

“Hey”

I approached her but she just ignored me and went to school, I saw her face ‘she was crying all night, huh?’ I felt pain in my chest. I chased her again

“Hey Krystal, please talk to me”

She looked at me with her eyes swollen, then passed me again leaving me stunned the bell then rang and then went to my room

 

After class I ran to her room, but she was nowhere to be found, I asked her classmate

“Have you seen Krystal?”

“She already left”

I bowed my head and excused myself to find her, I look all over the campus but she was nowhere to be found, I let out a sigh while I head to the school garden

“I should’ve really lied to her”

When I got there I saw someone sitting at the bench looking down, I approach the girl I felt relief that I finally found her

“Hey Princess?”

She look up to me, her eyes shows sadness and pain then look down again, I felt guilty for doing such things to her

“What do YOU want?”

I sat down beside her

“Can you just leave me alone!”

“Could you just hear me out?”

“What’s there to hear? That you and Yoona are dating now? I don’t care! Just leave”

She stood up and was about to leave when I suddenly grabbed her hand

“Please Krystal listen”

“...”

“I’m really sorry for not telling you please, forgive me”

Before I knew it she slaps me, letting her hand slip and ran away again

“I deserve more than a slap when I hurt you”

I then rubbed the sore part and went home

 

The next day I did the same, went early to school and stood there, but she didn’t come so I tried to go to their house but no answer, days became weeks and life started to go back to normal or so I thought, Yoona and I are close again and somewhat my feelings for her vanished just like that

Yoona and I was going out of the school

“Hey Amber, I heard there’s a new mall opening today should me go check it out?”

I kept remember Krystal, and I still feel guilty about it

“Am?”

I snap out of it then turn to her with a smile

“Yeah? Sure”

I familiar figure was suddenly appeared my eyes widen as the girl was ahead of us I can clearly tell that it’s her

“On second thought, Yoona lets go there another time”

I said my goodbye to Yoona and followed her, she went to the mall first walking around and ate dinner, It was already dark when decided to go home

“I looked like a stalker, right now”

I told myself as I kept following her, she was walking pass the alley when some men went near her

“Don’t even think about going near her”

 

One man suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her to the dark alley, I went near it when I saw the three men ganging up on her as she struggle to break free, I felt really annoyed no more than  annoyed I felt mad about it, then they started to strip her

“STOP IT!, LET GO OFF!”

She was struggling hard and pleading ‘THAT’S IT’ before I knew it, rush towards them and beat them up with a pole I picked up on the ground

“DO YOU EVER TRY TO MESS WITH HER AGAIN GOT IT?!”

“this guy is crazy, let’s go guys”

The three men got up and ran away, I threw the pole on the ground and went to Krystal

“Hey, are you hurt?”

I asked her worriedly, she then opened her eyes when she saw me she hugged me tight and cried

“It’s alright now, you’re safe now”

I hugged her back and rubbed her back to comfort her

 

It took some time for her to stop crying, when I pulled back I cupped her face as I wipe her tears with my thumbs

“Come on, Let’s take you”

She just nod, I called a cab for her and told the driver where to go ‘Its better like this watching her from afar ‘ She got on to the cab then looked up to me, I gave her a smile

“Go home okay? See you tomorrow”

The cab then drove off, I watched the cab then it suddenly stop

“What’s going on?”

I ran to the cab then Krystal got out

“I don’t want to go home yet”

She said as she, I smiled on her behaviour

“Want me to take you home?”

She just nods, I gave the driver some money and told him that I will be the one to take her home
