"Hey, do you want to go see a movie tomorrow night or something?"

You glanced up from your phone and looked at your boyfriend who you were currently video chatting with.

"Sorry, I can't," you said just as your phone went off, notifying you that you had a new text message, "I promised the team that I would hang out with them."

"Oh, okay," he mumbled, his expression noticeably dimming.

"What's wrong?" you asked.

"Nothing," he shook his head and kept his eyes trained on something in his room.

"Don't lie to me, Junhong," you threw your phone onto the foot of your bed, "You only mumble like that when something is bugging you."

"I'm serious!" Junhong exclaimed with a forced laugh, "Nothing's wrong."

He let out a sigh when you gave him a look, seeing right through his nonchalant façade.

"It's just that," he pursed his lips and he collected his thoughts, "You spend a lot of the time with the team."

You tilted your head to the side as you thought of your school's judo team. Since your school could only find one coach that was qualified, both the boys and girls teams would practice together. And it was quite obvious that there were more boys on the team than girls.

You didn't really think that much about it, but you did spend every day after school with them for practice and matches on the weekends.

"So?" you pouted, "This isn't my first year doing judo, you know that."

"But this is the first year that you're doing judo while having a boyfriend," he pointed out.

"Okay …. I still don't see your point."

Junhong let out a sigh and hung his head, "Do you really not know what I'm talking about?" he looked up at your through his lashes.

"Um, yeah I really don't," you stared back at him, your expression totally blank and confusion written all over your face.

Although he didn't want to, Junhong decided to up his pride and tell you the truth.

"It's just that there's a lot of … guys on the team," he said slowly.

"Okay… And?"

"And you kind of practice with them a lot too."

"Yeah, but only because none of the other girls are in the same weight class as me."

"But they still like … touch you and stuff," he muttered, staring down at the keyboard of his laptop.

"Well in judo, you kinda have to touch your opponent," you laughed.

Junhong sighed and scratched the back of his head in frustration. How could he make his feelings any more obvious?

You tilted your head to the side as you watched your boyfriend knit his eyebrows together in frustration and pucker his lips to the side.

Why was he acting so strange? Being on the judo team and spending time with the guys has never bothered him until you became his - Oh.

"Oh my gosh, are you jealous?" you asked him, almost laughing out loud at his ridiculousness.

"No," he deadpanned sarcastically, "I'm just completely fine with other guys being all over my girlfriend all the time."

"Whoa, no need to get sassy," you brushed off the attitude that was laced in his voice.

Junhong groaned and dropped his head onto his bed, allowing you to only see the top of his hair in the small box on your end of the video chat.

"Hey," you called.

But Junhong didn't move a muscle.

"Hey!" you repeated, a little louder this time.

"What?" his voice was muffled, probably by his bed comforter.

"Look at me."

You saw Junhong's head look up at the screen and frowned when you could still only see his forehead.

"Let me see your face," you ordered.

Junhong sighed and lifted his head, propping his chin up on one hand.

You smiled a little when you saw his face tinted pink in the light of his computer screen and the small pout that was on his lips.

"You have nothing to worry about. Those guys are like brothers to me," you insisted.

"Yeah, but are you like a sister to them?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Of course I am! I mean I must be, right?" you bit your lip.

"How do you know?"

You opened your mouth to answer, but your words seemed to get caught in your throat.

"You're around them all the time," Junhong continued, "I'm sure at least one of them sees you the same way that I do."

"But I don't feel that way about them," you mumbled.

Junhong squinted his eyes and leaned closer to his computer screen, "What was that?"

"I don't feel that way about any of them," you repeated, louder this time, "Sure, I love them and care about them. But not the same way that I love and care about you."

Junhong's eyes widened, "You … love me?"

"Of course I do!" you beamed, "I wouldn’t have spent all the time and effort trying to get you to like me if I didn't."

"Oh, well, I love you too," he mumbled quickly, the blush rapidly returning to Junhong's cheeks.

You bit your lip in an attempt to hide your smile. The both of you took shy glances at each other, quickly looking away when you met the other's eyes.

But you were pulled away when your phone buzzed against your bedside table.

"Hello?" you asked into the microphone, "Oh, hey Namhyun."

Junhong silently watched you talk to your male teammate. Even though you just told him that you loved and cared for him more than your teammates, he couldn't help but still feel a little bit of jealously still resonating in the pit of his stomach.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I can make it tonight."

Junhong sat up straight at stared at you with wide eyes.  

"I kind of have other plans," you looked up at your boyfriend and gave him a small smile.

And Junhong couldn't help but smile back.
