Kevin’s POV

 

I asked her to go to the playground kasi alam ko ugali nya – she’s lazy and annoying ,magcocomplain nanaman yun kapag malayo at baka masagasaan pa siya .But before I went straight sa playground. I went to the nearest store to buy something for her something to make her feel a little better. As I scan the store I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. Then something grabs my attention. I know what expression she will show me pero lollipop lang for sure tatanggapin nya. So I bought it with some bag of  chips and can of coke para naman di kapahiya sa nagtitinda kung pisong lollipop lang bibilin ko .

 

I saw her sitting at the swing . Gusto ko sana itulak kaso baka mangungod kawawa naman .  I plugged my earphone sa tenga nya para damang dama nya at para na rin  mapansin nya ako  pero ang layo na ng narrating  ng utak nya kaya imposible yun .Pinagmamasdan ko sya at natatawa ako .

“gusto mo ng tissue? “ yan ang lumabas sa bibig ko.pasensya

“wrong timing .______.”

“ ah ok I’ll leave” I jokingly said while attempting to take my first step away .

“Arte mo . Sit”

 I smiled . She asked me about the earphone so I kindly explained but what do I get? A kick at natawag pa ako bakla . Then I tried to give her the lollipop .It was a mistake kasi kahit ibahin niya expression niya I can still see how sad she is .

“I know he used to give this to you pero wala na ako iba maisip na gusto mo e “ lame . what did I just said ? . aish. I glance at her ayun , lumilipad nanaman and utak. Very good KEVIN u deserve a flying kick.

 

After a few minutes . finally, she spoke .

“He did it over the phone “  she looked down playing with her fingers. 

“Ano?!” 

 

She nodded.

 

Im pissed. But it’s not about my feelings it’s about hers  .

 

“don’t give me that look Kevin “ What? What look?

 

“huh?”

 

“that look. That i-pity-you-so-much look” 

 

“sorry “ I looked away.

 

“He …..told me he was tired “ she looks away and sigh

 

“of what?”  I glance at her .

 

“of me”  and she gave me a weak smile .

 

“What are you smiling for? Stupid…” I flicked her forehead.

She chuckles.

“it’s getting late . I need to go back before my family kicks my lame-o ” 

I wave back. I can’t believe James did that to her. Anu kayang nangyari sakanya? Akala ko pa naman totoo na. Sigh.
