A Kisaeng's Love
Description
I was a kisaeng, a woman not worth remembering. You were a warrior, a man worthy of respect and honor. Society dicatated we could never be together, it was improper, not right, but I still loved you anyway.
Foreword
A/N: This takes place in 11th Century Korea. A Kisaeng is a female entertainer that sometimes green lights as a e, so they are somewhat similar to a Japanese Geisha. This story is somewhat dark and tragic and is written in a way to reflect the time period and what would happen and how woman and people of lower rank were treated.
This is an entry for this contest ( ★ annyeonghaseyo! — writing contest ' ). I used this prompt: 'Love is when you can't stop looking at him, even if he'll never look back.'
