Beep Beep

This sound goes on continuously, waking me up from my slumber.

"Kris! Kris hyung! Wake Up!"

That familar voice keeps disturbing me; I finally give in, opening my eyes.

I find myself lying on a bed, I checked my torso and I felt a giant cast wrapped around me. I see him sitting beside me, my good friend Tao.

"Kris!" He hugs me tightly that I can't even feel myself breathe. "Kris! You okay? I've been spending the last few weeks waiting for you to wake up! Please tell me you're alright!"

Tears stream down his eyes as he was saying that, I was just... speechless.

Questions kept running through my head, What is he doing here? How did I even get here? Why would he still care about me?

"Tao..."

As I say his name he quickly lets go and kisses my forehead.

"Kris...."

"You waited for me but I thought you were–"

"Getting married? But as soon as I found out, I quickly rushed over here."

I took his hand and held it as tightly as I can. He didn't seem to mind or let go.

"Please tell me you'll be alright.."

I took the brown leather book placed on the bedside table.

I opened it. 

And I began to read our story...
