Rules

1. One entry per person: you will write one drabble (<100 words) and one story (unlimited word count), both will be due on the same day.  
2. Your entry cannot be an existing story of yours and it must be a story created after 4/14/2013.  
3. You cannot have a co-author for your entry.  The entry must be entirely your work, so if I see any of you not writing both parts for the contest, your entry will not count and you will be disqualified. 
4. The drabble must have a title, must be equal to or less than 100 words, and be put in the foreword of the story (the second part of the contest).  The drabble cannot be something written randomly, as if using a prompt from a random site or randomly using your brain, because it has to tie into the story you are creating to be accepted.  However, you can write the drabble at any time during the writing process, but at the end of the deadline, the drabble must be included in the story's foreword for your entry to count.
5. The story does not have a word length, so essentially you can write to your heart's content, but it must be finished at the end of the deadline (with the drabble included).  There will be no prompts, but if you want to use a quote or picture to spur an idea for your story, go ahead.  You can also write any genre you want, except /pwp ( without plot), but if you must have a rated scene, it must be tastefully done and used to enhance the story/plot.  
6. Your story must feature a member from Infinite as a main character.  You can choose as little or as many Infinite members as you want to write about, but at least one has to be the main character.  You can use idols from other groups and OC characters as well, but the story has to feature at least one Infinite member.  'You' fics will be allowed, but be careful when writing them and please stay away from using 2nd person, unless you are using it as a literary device for a specific purpose.
7. The story and drabble can contain , yuri (if having side characters), or heteroual couples.  It is your choice whether you want to write pairings, OCxInfinite Member, or no pairings at all.  
8. You must link back to this contest in your foreword.

Deadline

The deadline for this contest is on August 10, 2013 and will accept entries up to 23:59 CST.  Judging period will last for at least 2 weeks depending on the number of entries.  

Judging Criteria

The story will be judged by plot, character development, pacing, and writing style.  The drabble will be judged by how you've written it and how well constructed it is.  The foreword (except the drabble), title, and presentation will not be considered at all during the judging process, as I will be judging on how well you write and how well I enjoyed the drabble and story, not how you present your story to others and me by posters and fancy layouts.  

And if you aren't a native speaker, please tell me in the 'English Background' of the turn in form, so I can take that into consideration while judging, but please use a spell checker before turning any entries in.  And for everyone else, please proofread your stories before sending your entries in.  It's understandable if there are a few mistakes like a misplaced comma or grammatical error, but if there is something wrong with every other word or statement where I'm finding mistakes, the entry will be disqualified.

3rd Place: 200 karma

**karma points will increase and there may be more prizes added as the contest goes on and how many people show interest in this.
