Foreword
Concentrating on the task at hand, I prepared myself to engage.
Taking in deep breaths, my heart rate slows down.
This enabled me to hear their movements clearly as my sense of hearing heightened.
Orders were passed down, guns loaded.
Shuffling of footsteps could be heard, closing in behind me.
It's show time!
"FREEZE! NOBODY NEEDS TO GET HURT!"
Clutching the device in my hand, I pushed the big red button and waited as its magic unravelled.
A series of precisely timed explosions set off behind me.
Nothing physically damaging, just chemicals strong enough to knock them out.
I don't really hurt people after all.
I would like to think of it as being 'discreet'.
Picking up the briefcase, I made my exit, a swift descend down the pipelines.
Thunder bellowed as a flash of lighting penetrates the night sky. The evildoer wins again. XD
Another mission accomplished as expected.
