He asked me: "How many did you love before you came to me?"

I looked into his warm brown eyes and sighed. He and I had always been honest with each other. No matter what, we always told each other the truth even if it wasn't exactly what we wanted to hear. It was how he and I knew that we were each other's single ones.

My fingers laced with his and he took a gentle grip onto mine. He was ready.

I let out a nervous breath.

"Six?"

He let out a chuckle.

"Are you asking me?"

I let out a refreshing laugh and nudged his forehead with my own as I scooted closer to him on our shared bed.

"I had six loves."

He took a second before nodding and asking: "Their names were?"

I shrugged my shoulders, my lip twisting at the corner in indifference because I was here now, not in the past. But I decided to humor him and looked him in the eyes again, a bit braver than before.

"Who, what, when, where, why, and how."

He pursed his lips, looked to our intertwined fingers and looked back into my eyes. He was really ready to know those stories. And I was ready to comply with him.

I was inspired a video which I won't reveal until the end to avoid some spoilers ^^. I couldn't just leave this idea tucked away into my brain. It was too precious to let go of. So even though I'm on a hiatus, I'm going to break out of it for a bit to write down these thoughts and ideas and stories to share with you guys. Enjoy. :)
