"Thank you." He sat on the chair.
"Mom, this is Hyukjae. Hyukjae this is my mom." I introduced them to each other.
"Of course I know him. You're obssessed with him before right? Or should I say until now?" Mom teased me.
And it seems like Hyukjae likes it.
I can see his gummy smile very clearly.
"Mom! Stop it!!" I screamed.
I remember, before when she showed to Hyukjae my entire room. The embarassment I felt before, I'm feeling it again.
"Okay okay. I'm going back inside. You two take your time." she said.
*Silence*
*awkward moment*
"The last time..." we said it at the same time.
"You go first." He said.
"No, you go first." I replied.
"Ladies first." He smiled.
"Okay. What I'm going to say is that the last time I saw you was during your fansigning event near our school. I just noticed that it's been a long time." I said.
"What I'm going to say is the same. The last time and the first time we met was during our fansigning event. Until then, I've been curious about you." he said.
"Why? Why are you curious about me?" I asked.
"Remember I told you that you look familiar. And I feel like I'm so into you. That's why I looked for you. And now you're in front of me." he explained.
"E-excuse me?" I asked.
Why is he so vocal?
"It's not like it's the first time we've met during that time. Nothing, I want you to be my friend. Is that possible?" he smiled.
I stared at him for a second.
"Here. Eat this. Jungha made this awhile ago." Mom interrupts.
"Oh- Thank you." he replied as he gets the foods.
"O-of course. We can be friends." I smiled.
"Jungha, he's from SM Entertainment too right? So he knows your brother?" Mom asked.
"Oh, you have a brother working in SME?" he asked.
"Kim Jungmo is my brother." I replied.
He stopped eating and looked at me.
"Seriously!?" he was shocked.
"Yes. Half brother actually." I smiled.
"Wow! What a small world! Where is he btw? He asked for a temporary leave after he came back from military." he said.
"He's in America right now. He's with my childhood friend. He'll be back I think next month." I explained.
While we're eating, his phone rang.
"Mom, why?" he picked it up while his mouth is full.
"O-okay. I'm going back there now." he replied.
"Jungha, I need to go now. My mom said there's a lot of fans in TLJ." he explained.
"Wow, there are still fans who visits you there?" I asked.
"Yes. My devoted fans. And I'm happy that they don't forget me. You should visit there too." he invited me.
"Sure sure. We'll just set the date. It's my pleasure to go there." I smiled.
"I'll leave now. Thank you for the food. It's all nice." he said.
"Mrs. Kim, thank you. I'll leave now." he bowed to my mom.
"Bye. Take care. Bring this cupcakes for your mom." I smiled and waved.
He waved and entered the car.
