--One month later--

My alarm rang and I glanced at my phone.
 
"Ni-Nine thirty?"
 
My eyes flew open,"Oh gosh its nine thirty!"
 
I leapt out of my bed to my bathroom and flew out again after washing up.
 
Do I always have to be late?I mean,I'm not always late but,"Umma!"
 
My butler came upstairs,"Your mother has already left for school,you might want to leave as well."
 
I grumbled,"Ajusshi,you could at least wake me up."
 
"Mianheyo,I'm not allowed to."
 
I grumbled again and rushed down to get a taxi.
 
I waved my arm like a maniac and rushed off to school.
 
We stopped at a traffic light.
 
I sighed,and I thought this month would go well.
 
I was just late a month ago and here I am.Stuck at the same traffic light as last time.
 
I looked out my window and saw the same boy in the other taxi right next to mine.
 
I stared at him,can't be.
 
The same boy from last month?The same boy that stuck in my brain for the past month?
 
He looked back through his thick glasses and stared right back at me.
 
I glared at him and stuck out my tongue.
 
He did the same,together with some crushing action with his hands.
 
I scoffed and punched the glass.
 
"Yah yah what are you doing back there?"
 
"Oh,chesuhamida,I knocked my head on the window."
 
I shot a glare out the window and the boy looked like he was laughing.
 
I leaned back in my seat.
 
He seemed like my age,blond hair,looks smart,a little nerdy in fact.
 
But irritating,really irritating.
 
I arrived at school safely and rushed for lesson.
 
I got another severe warning from my teacher but it was fine.
 
During break time,I went to my mother's office.
 
"Oh,is there something you need Minhye?"
 
"Umma,you know I want to go to school on my own."
 
"Yes I do know that."She continued flipping through her file.
 
"But still,ajusshi should be allowed to wake me up right?"
 
She finally glanced up at me,"Ah,that will be a big no."
 
"Wae?"
 
"The condition was,by yourself,so even waking up should be by yourself."
 
"But still-"
 
She raised her hand,cutting me off,"It was the condition we agreed on with your father.Just because he is overseas doesn't mean it doesn't apply,you wanted it."
 
I nodded,I really wanted to get out of this school.
 
Away from my parents' grasp,I just want to be a normal student,just once.
 
And I also have to look for him.
 
"Mrs Choi,a parent is looking for you."
 
My mother nodded and patted my head,"Listen,I know I'm the principal,but if you want a transfer,convince your father,not me,I'm fine with it.It builds character."
 
I raised an eyebrow,"Changing schools builds character?"
 
She smiled,"No no,the process of it does."
 
"Jinjja?"
 
She sighed and kissed my head,"My dear,you have your mother here in this school to protect you,you don't like it?"
 
I shrugged,"I want to rough it out on my own."
 
She nodded and left the office.
 
I walked down the hallways,the students all either talking behind my back or approaching me for benefits.
 
I hate it.Being stuck like this.
 
I somehow ended up in the library and I sunk down in a chair.
 
I stared at the table blankly and my head dropped to the table.
 
The whole library was quiet,which was nice.
 
I closed my eyes.
 
"Yah,the library's not for sleeping,get out."
 
I got up and stared at the stranger.
 
"What's your probl-"
 
Then I realised he wasn't just a stranger.
 
"What are you doing here?"
 
The blond boy chuckled,"Who are you to ask me that?"
 
"Who are you to wake me up?"
 
"I was invited here."
 
"Oh yeah?"
 
"So an amazing school like this,produces students like you?"
 
He looked me up and down and chuckled.
 
I grabbed his crisp collar and pulled him close to my face,"This school is as good as its always been,I'm just an exception,so shut up."
 
I pushed him off and stomped out.
 
His uniform was also from a good school,LTE high school.
 
The school I wanted to transfer to.
 
Which pissed me off even more.
 
Why is he in the school I want to transfer to?
 
I may not like this school much,but its still my school.
 
And I will protect the name of my mother's school even if I leave.
 
Invited here?Yeah right,for what?
