everything seems so vivid

are the tears
that pools in my eyes

memories come tumbling through his mind. he jerks awake, cold sweat dripping from his forehead - the room making him feel claustrophobic.
a small whimper can be heard, and he closes his eyes again - so vivid, so real.
the first drop of tear streaks his cheeks.
