“you’re a nut,” he says accusingly. junhong doesn’t think that’s fair, after all, jongup was the one who just hit him in the face with a highlighter. as soon as he opens his mouth to voice this, though, jongup cuts him off. “do you honestly not know who that was?”

“what?” junhong’s face folds into an expression of confusion.

“are you serious? have you been living under a rock?” when junhong says nothing, jongup finally enlightens him on why he keeps insulting junhong’s intelligence. “that was bang yongguk. as in, a-list actor bang yongguk. he’s starred in like, six movies this year alone. iest man of the year and most elligible bachelor of the year. where the have you been?”

“majoring in biochesmitry, nut.” junhong spits back. “i don’t have time to do anything. i don’t have friends. i go to class, i study and i work. sometimes a few at the same time.” he gestures to the open book in front of him. the one that he spends more time asking himself  why the he thought taking mathematical models in biology instead of intro to psychological stats was a good idea when it’s open in front of him than actually reading.

“all in the hopes you’ll actually get to to something with that degree someday,” jongup shakes his head, muttering under his breath. “and you asked him if you knew him from somewhere.”

“it was a valid question!”

“junhong, he’s on a billboard modeling for like, calvin klein or some , across the street from your apartment.”
