Ok so this is just a drabble one shot to get out some of my Youngjae feels.  I have just recently come to terms with him usurping Yongguk as my official BAP bias.  I posted the following rant on my Tumblr and then my friend, who also turned from Guk to Jae, and I had the following conversation about it.  And it kinda just insprired me to write this one shot.  It's basically just 2,000 words of fluffy Jae feels.  Dedicated to http://www.asianfanfics.com/profile/view/282541

1. From the very beginning I have vehemently been Yongguk biased.  I mean, he is perfect for me in every way:1. UGH I need to talk about how much I hate Yoo Youngjae right now

I’m an 89er, he was born in 1990 so he is the closest to my age.  He has such a deep voice and is so manly, and in Ta-Dah was loud and aggressive.  As someone who is not super feminine, but rather loud and aggressive as well, I prefer guys who can outdo me.  He writes the lyrics and helps produce the music.  I cannot get over how much I respect that.  He’s also incredibly active in charity work and just an overall wonderful human being.

So it’s killing me inside that I just don’t find myself as drawn or attracted to him anymore.

Because that pretty little beotch Yoo Youngjae has been the only one I can see lately.

I don’t know what it is about this kid but he’s just been getting to me lately.  It’s like every interview, every show case, every picture, every gif set, I’m being drawn to him.

He’s snarky and funny and witty and smart and he’s completely ruining my bias list.

As someone who has never changed biases in a group before, this is upsetting for me.  I feel like I’m cheating on my Gukkie but I just cannot contain my Youngjae feels anymore (T_T)

(Though I do wish he’d chill out on the body mod.  I prefer him looking a bit fluffier.  But if he’s happy and healthy, then I’m happy). 

Ok, I just needed to rant about that.  I’m going to go cry in a corner now.

 

2. We’ve officially figured it out

I think it’s like…Yongguk is that kid in your class who you fall for instantly. He’s hot, smart and a nice guy. But Youngjae’s like the annoying, snarky best friend who is always in your face bugging you while you’re trying to creep on Yongguk. And then, you finally go on a date with a Yongguk and you’re like “Oh… that was nice…” but then you realize that Jae was always the one in your heart all along. And like kudzu he just kinda kept growing until he took it over and now you want to die.

At first I was like "Yeah, finally a good Yongguk-story~". Now, I'm sitting here, crying my eyes out, and feel guilty.
Actually, I was a Youngjae-fan for a long time, too. Recently I started noticing Yonggie, though, and kind of... abandoned Jae. Your story opened my eyes, seriously. Youngjae, come back to bed! Let's cuddle again, like we used to, I'll never hurt you again... ;A;xy
