Diary entry #8

“Yah Sooyeon what are you doing there?” a voice called from behind me and I jumped a little out of surprise.

“What the heck Zelo! You almost gave me a heart attack! Don’t scare me like that you derp!” I playfully smack his arm and he dramatically hissed in pain.

“Ouch, how dare you hurt your most amazing best friend like that?” he asked jokingly while rubbing his arms like its sore or something.

I rolled my eyes and closed the violet notebook in my hands and put it inside my bag and got up from my seat.

“Oh you’re going home already?” he asked while also getting up

“Isn’t it obvious?” I asked like it’s the most common thing in the world.

“I’ll walk you home” he said casually

I held up my hand in front of his face. “No need, and besides you could just hang out with your girlfriend”

“But I want to hang out with you, I miss my fat pig of a friend” I felt my breathing hitched even though it was meant to be a joke. I immediately composed myself and turn my back and began walking away.
