Baekhyun had protected her during those times, baring his sharp canines to scare the bullies away.

She couldn't ask for a better bestfriend. Who needs the world when there's her little Bacon standing by her through everything?
 

But still, Baekhyun felt like it wasn't enough. He wanted to yell at those people who sneered at her, to give them a piece of his mind. But all he could do was growl and bark.

Dogs were never meant to talk after all.

So at night, he prayed. He often hear her stories about this being called God who hears and answers people's prayers.

Can he hear dogs too?

Baekhyun prayed for one...just one chance.

A chance to protect her more than he was ever able to.

A chance to take care of her like she used to do with him.

A chance to tell her how much he loves her.

Dogs can be romantic too, mind you.
