Ugh~ who could it be at this time??

I stretched my arm to find my phone on top of the bed stand. As i Lazily throw the blanket off my face, the morning rays of sun directly hit me in my face!! *ugh* too bright!!

 

I wipe my eyes off and unlock my phone to check the message. 

 

Sender: Ravi

 

Yah!! I am about to leave my house! Will be there in 10 mins!! You BETTER be ready by the time i get there!

 

What!! 10 mins?? I check the time and its 11:35. HOLY CRAP!! How could i have forgotten about it!! Me and Ravi have got an applicant day today!! I quickly jump off my bed. The message was sent at 11:30, that means i have only got 5 mins left. I quickly run off to the bathroom to get a quick shower- and when i mean quick! I mean QUICK! QUICK!! I get out of the shower in 2 mins!! *new record* yeah!! *Does the victory dance* Ok!! No time to get proud of myself!! I am used to being quick at doing this kind of stuff because i seriously am not a morning person, and i always have to rush in the morning, result of waking up late!

 

*honk* honk*

I hear Ravi's car outside of my house!! Oh god!! He is so going to kill me!! I peak out of my window, but he sees me! He rolls down the car window and shouts at me to hurry up!! I give him a hand gesture to give me 5 mins! Before i go back to get dressed i see him rolling his eyes!! He knows that 5 mins to me is like 10~15 mins. I rush to my closet to find something decent to wear. I don't want to look like a tramp in front of my soon to be lecturers. Plus, i might make new friends too. I hear my mum shouting at me from downstairs to hurry up! For the last time, i look into the mirror before heading downstairs. I kiss my mum's cheek before leaving the house.

 

Mum waves at both me and Ravi. I open the door to the passenger seat and get myself inside the car. 

 

''Finally!!'' Says Ravi with an annoyed tone!!

''I am so sorry! I kind of overslept'' i say while trying to give him sincere smile.

''As always'', he says and starts his car.

 

''You do know right?? We are already late, i have been there before but i don't know if i can still remember the way, that was like a year ago''

I just hum a reply. The uni that both me and Ravi have applied is Jellyfish University, it is meant to be one of the best university around here. We have both got our offers and its an applicant day today for those who have already got an offer. Its a day, where they talk about the uni, uni's accommodation and they talk about the course we have applied for. So, that we can know what we will be doing in the future. 

 

We are still on our way, and theres still like 20 mins left to reach the town. The uni is right by the town.

 

Oh right!! I still haven't introduced myself yet, my name is Jaehwan but everyone calls me Ken! I am 18 years old. I am currently in my last year of college*finally*. Cant wait to get out of this hell hole. Don't get me wrong, i have got loads of friend and me and Ravi are both good at socialising with people but its just the fact that our college still treat us like little kids, makes me feel like i am in prison. Btw, if you haven't figured out by yet, Ravi is my best friend. His real name is Wonshik. We have basically known each other our entire life. We practically grew up together. So we pretty much know everything about each other. We both have been interested in  arts and performance. However, i am more of a singer, where as Ravi is more of a rapper. I am interested in drawing where as he is good at graffitis  and stuff like that. 

 

I get pulled out of my thought, when Ravi stops the car. I look at him and I see him looking around. 

''We are here!'' He says. And by the way he is grinning like an idiot, i can just tell he is proud of himself for not getting us lost. 

I give him a smile and we rush inside the uni.
